The Fairest of Them All

Shelby was the most popular and beautiful girl in school. She had a wonderful life and a wonderful boyfriend until she became a vampire. Now she must figure out how to deal with blood cravings as well as her obnoxious, but kind of amazing "mentor" as he likes to call himself, Andrew.

Andrew has been a vampire for about 150 years and he has never seen anything quite like Shelby. He has a feeling for her that he is not sure of. He must choose between his unknown love for her or his freedom.

I got out my phone to call Shelby. I needed to know why she broke up with me.

My phone rang. It was Alexander. I ignored it and turned to my creator. "What have you done to me?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

I got her voicemail and left her a message. "Hey, Shell, I just wanted to talk to you, you know, say hi and...yeah...so...gimme a call back soon. Bye."

I got out my phone to call Shelby. I needed to know why she broke up with me.

I ran throughout the rooms looking for Andrew. He was no where to be found. I kept running and yelling his name.

Andrew layed back and put his feet up on the table. "Why? Because I wanted you." He looked at her and knew she was his. He motioned for her to come to him with his pointer finger. When she came he sat her on his lap.



Destiny walked over to Alexander and put her hand on his shoulder. She had always had a crush on him but he had been Shelby's..."Hey you ok?..."

I looked at him. I was now on his lap. aai couldn't control what I was doing. "What does that mean?"

I ran into the room Andrew and Shelby was. As soon as I ran in I saw Shelby sitting on his lap. I tryed not to stare and calmly spoke "ummmm Andrew am I interupting anything? I need to talk to you."

"Yes Alice?" Andrew played with Shelby's hair.



"You sure?" I was worried about him

I looked at the girl in the doorway. "Who are you?" I shivered as he played with my hair.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I smiled at her, hoping it was convincing.

"Thats Alice she's my.....acomplace." * moved her hair and kissed the back of her neck. She was mine.



I could tell that the smile wasnt sincere. "Ok tell me whats wrong."

I walked into the room but watched my step. "I would really like to talk to you alone if you don't mind. She can stay here. we can go out into the hall." I looked at the girl "I'm Alice. Just one of Andrew's friends. Calm down you don't need to feel threatened." I looked back at Andrew. "Or is now not a good time?"

I shivered. There was something about his kiss that scared me, but something else that seduced me. "Hi." I whispered to Alice.

"I'm just...worried about Shelby." I sighed. "Have you heard from her?"

I looked back at her "Hello!" I stuck out my hand to shake. "It's very nice to finally meet you."

Andrew sighed. "Will you stay here while I go see what Alice needs?" He asked looking into Shelby's eyes.



"No I havent...I'm sorry.. is something going on with you guys?"

"I promise Andrew it won't be long."

I shook her hand. She seemed really nice. "Nice to meet you too." I almost melted in his eyes. "O-okay." I whispered.

"She broke up with me and I don't know why." I sighed. "And now she won't answer my phone calls."

I turned to walk back out the door and looked over my sholder "Oh but Shelby...I'd recomend turning off your phone for a while." I went back to walking and waited in the hall sitting on the ground.
