I smiled at him. "I'm not lying. I was a bit... absorbed with some different things," I like him saying he liked me. "And that does make sense." I took a step closer to him. Not so we were hugging just so we were close.

When Sasha stepped closer, Evan suddenly became frantic and found himself wondering about his appearance. His hair was a bit on the long side and he was sure some sort of acne had appeared since the last time he'd checked a picture of himself in his Cerberus form. And what if she got close enough to discover he had less muscle definition than a twelve-year-old girl?

He swallowed loudly.

I frowned. I think this was getting to be a bit much for him. I didn't say anything so he could just soak in what happened. I waited for him to get his thoughts back together.

Evan realized that she seemed to be waiting on something, so he relaxed and said, "Sorry. I'm just not used to this, you know? Never had a girlfriend in school or anything. What's the point of having a guy who can't even tell you when you look beautiful, right?"

He laughed softly and moved forward again so that his arms brushed against hers.

I smiled at him. "Well I don't need that. And you can tell me because you don't have to worry about shifting in front of me." He touched me slightly and I felt a new animal come in. It was the satyr he was now. I took his hand without meaning to. I sighed looking at it. He was the guy for me.
