The Hunger Games Series

My BFF made me read the first book, and I'm glad she did. The whole series is amazing. Finnick is the best! I like Katniss and Haymitch, too. But Finnick is just great, he's so funny and smart.

Now that they're making a movie of the series I hope they pick good actors.

Yeah, Finnick is one of the best. i love his humor and ability to make people smile in hard times. But I still love Peeta the most, I have to say.

They're almost done picking everybody I think. They've got the most important roles at least, like Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Rue, Prim...etc.
So far I think they've made really good choices, like Josh Hutcherson for Peeta. He has a way with words, like Peeta is supposed to have.

I never particualrly liked Gale. I mean, I like him, but not for Katniss as Liz said. They're too alike. I would have liked him together with Madge though :3

I'm so exvited for the movie. The trailer was great and I only just saw the poster. It was really beautiful.

I will forever love Gale. No one will ever change my mind. Haha.
But, this isn't Twilight. It was obvious Peeta was the one for Katniss, but Gale was the one who stole my heart from the beginning.

The song!!! <3 I love it. When I heard it I had it on repeat for a long time. It is so Rue. I can just imagine it. Katniss sings the lullaby, the canon sounds, she goes and gathers flowers and Safe & Sound plays in the background ...

Yes, it was obvious from the beginning that it would be Peeta that Katniss would end up with it. Unlike Twilight, the love triangle in THG was just a smaller part in the story.

My friend keeps telling me that i should read this series. I saw a preview for the movie and it looks REALLY interesting!

I definitely agree that it's an amazing series. I can't wait to see the movie. It's still hard for me to believe that the librarian at the school I attended as a freshman was the one who got me to read this book. She said it was amazing, and would be really popular. Moral of the story: LISTEN TO YOUR LIBRARIAN.

Everytime the comercial comes on I drop what ever I am doing and run like a ninja to the remote to turn it up. I can't wait !

i just finished the trilogy.
and i have to say i am completely stoked about the movie.
I seriously cant even contain my excitement. c:

&On the Gale vs Peeta note.
Gale is too much like Katniss. And she has that... chemistry with Peeta almost instantly. i mean, she may not notice it but it seems like it was there from the beginning.
and Gale just... i dont know. i was never a big fan of him, for Katniss.
to me he came across kind of arrogant and down right jerksih.

im actually super upset i finished the series so quickly. i sort of formed at attachment to the characters and now i have nothing left to read. :[ but im going to the midnight premiere of the movie. asdfghjkl; c:

I can't go to the midnight premiere anyway, haha, my boyfriends coming with me and he lives over an hour away, so I don't mind, they don't usually do midnight premieres in the UK anyway, apart from for breaking dawn. -_-

The red carpet premiere, however is being held about 20 minutes away from where I live.
