Unwind

The Time is the distant future, where an ipod is an archaic way of listening to music. The Government decided to come up with a plan. A plan to Unwind children at the age of 13-17. What is Unwinding. Taking apart your body,every ounce of it and donating it. no your not already dead when they do this. I your parent put in an order for your unwinding when your alive they come for you. They take you to a Harvesting camp where they keep you healthy so they can unwind you and sell your body parts to people who need or want them. No these children have no say in the matter,if you run they chase you.
What do you get Unwound for? If your a delinquent then your parents are most likely to put in an unwind order for you. f your an orphan taking up space and have no talent. Your going to get unwound. if your a Tithe? one who thinks being unwound is a true sacrifice for your religion. Your somewhat special but you still get unwound. But Lacey cant let it happen. Her parents arent about to unwind her. She's going to run away,and run till she turns 18. If she's lucky she can stay alive.

Bio:Lacey was the sorta Bad girl you liked. She didnt get good grades because she didnt want them. She just wanted to enjoy life no matter what her parents say. She knows she is going to get unwound sooner or later. But maybe she wont her parents love her right?

Bio: August and October come from a crazy family. Both of their parents being nut jobs. They has 10 other sisters, October being number 10, August being number 8. They were two of the quads in a set of quadruplets (August, September, October, November.) Their parents only thought the daughters with talent were 'worth their time' as they would put it. January and February were the singers. March was a painter and April was a sculpture. May played the harp and June played the piano. July and September were actresses, November was a novel writer, and December wrote poetry. All the girls were amazing at their talents, but October and August, had no talent. Was never born with one, could not learn one. So their parents wanted them unwound. So the two ran away.

Bio: Jess was a good kid. She stopped when she was 12. Started to rebel a bit, she ranaway at 14, no she's on her own and looking for her younger brother. One thing she can do is cook and find food. No idea how she learned, but she did and now uses to help others or feed herself. Her eyes are a startling grey, too bad no one sees them.

I had to ditch my bike two towns ago. What the hell kind of Parents put a tracking device in a bike? Oh yeah ones who want there only daughter unwound! They sicken me. What type of parent has the heart to do that. Maybe its because i was storked? i was left on their doorstep when i was a baby and the new law states they have to take me in. So guess they never really loved me like my two older brothers. I guess they just didnt want daughter troubles anymore. Who cares hate them now! I was walking on foot. Maybe some where in Tennessee. had to get to Arizona i heard there was a safe camp there for unwinds.

I got home from school and just went to my room i dint want to be bothered by my parents today. Ever since my cousin was unwound,Things have been quiet. Sometimes i think they'd want to unwind me. But then i remember they have no reason too.

i really hated this running thing i was kind of tired of it, but i just kept telling myself only 3 more months and you will be home free i had no idea what i was going to do when i was of age yet... what could i do, i didnt finish school so i had nothing to back me up there... i shrugged it off, it was something i could deal with later.

I sighed and rubbed my sore neck. One thing I missed about not being a runaway is the beds. But I couldn't do anything about it, I had no idea where my brother was and Arizona was the place to go I heard. I shrugged and ate some bacon. Thinking of my past, I missed Devon and my friends, but it's been three years, they probably think I'm dead or something. No point on thinking of them then.

I sighed and worked on my homework, I missed Jess. No one knew where she was, all we knew was that she left a while ago and hadn't been caught. But sooner or later I was gunna get unwound, can't wait.

i climbed out of my hiding place and done a quick check around... pulled on my hat and hood grabbed my backpack and headed for the bins outside the bakery. they always threw the bread out that hadnt been sold that day so i would wait quietly close by so i could get to it before any other animals did

I looked and slipped into a small town and looked around. I was running low on food suplies and matches. I hoped I wouldn't get caught, everytime I go in the cops see me. And that is pure scary for a runaway teen who's bound to ger unwound. Hey! That ryhmed. . . weird I normally never get words to do that.

there was heaps today, i pulled a duffel bag out of my backpack and started to fill it with the bread rolls.. i grabbed a few loaves of bread, some pull apart pizza bread and some coffee rolls mmm mmm.... my next stop was the drug store i needed to get some asprin but this i would have to steal, there is no way i could let any human see me and plus being on the run meant i had no source of money
