UnExpected (Chapter 1-???)

Charlie woke up to the sound of her obnoxious alarm clock, she threw it on the floor and rolled over to go back to sleep. Right then her mother walked in, "Honey, get up. You have to get ready."
"No!" Charlie said and pulled the covers over head.
Her mother laughed and walked over to the bed, "Come on." She said pulling the covers off her.
"Ugh." Charlie said patting at the bed serching for the blanket. "Fine." She said sitting up and glaring at her mother.
"Good morning starshine, the earth says hello." She laughed and walked out.
Charlie got out of bed, sluggishly, and went to take a shower. When she got out, she tried on fourteen different outfits before deciding to go with the first one she tried on: a black plain T-shirt, and her favorite pair of jeans, shee didn't really care about her under garmets, so she went with her purple lace bra and yellow thong. She got dressed and walked into the bathroom, she turned and looked at herself in the mirror, then she did what most girls did when they saw their reflection... she started to pin point the things she wanted to change. Charlie didn't like her soft blonde curls, or that she looked like a cliche, blonde hair blue eyes. She wanted to darken her hair color to a medium brown, like her fathers, but she couldn't because her mom wouldn't let her, just because she liked it.
Finished tamine her hair and putting on her makeup, she walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Her dad, Mike, was sitting at the table, like usual, reading the paper. Her mother, being the perfect little house wife that she is, was making a "healthy" breakfast. A bowl of cereal, her mother liked to cook, but not in the morning.
"Good morning." She said kissing both her parents on the cheeks and sitting down at the table.
"Good morning, love. Whats wrong?" Her dad asked.
"First day of school gitters." She replied.
"Listen, I know we go over this all the time, but, No boys."
" I know, dad." Charlie said rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, well your sixteen and I ain't raisin' no babies." He said and went back to his reading his paper. More silence in the Kell household, Charlie thought.
She finished her breakfast and gave her bowl to her mother, who was already doing the dishes. Charlie looked at the clock and she had to leave, she still had to stop at the office to get all her papers. She yelled bye to her parents and grabbed her keys to her green, Ford F-150. Charlie may be just a girly girl but she loved her truck.
Charlie pulled into the school parking lot and she didn't move for a minute, it was the first day of a new school and she was a little scarred. Well more than a little. She took a deep breath and decided to get it over with, she climbed out of the truck and walked into the office. She looked around to see where to go.
"You lost honey?" The women behind the desk asked.
"Um... I am Charlie Kell, I'm new." She said.
"Oh." The women said digging throught her desk and pulling out a manilla folder. "Yes here you go, these are all the papers you need. Are you going to drive to school?"
"Yeah. I'm allowed right?"
"Of course." More digging through her desk, "Just fill this out and turn it in with those papers and we will give you a parking permit. Do you need someone to escort you around school?"
"No thank you... I think I will be able to get around fine." Charlie smiled at the women and started to flip through the papers. She found her schedual and looked at it, knowing this year was going to be easy, she had already taken most of the classes.

Charlie found the number and combination to her locker, after a bit of looking she finally found it. She tried the combination, it didn't work so she tried again... and again. She started to get really mad, "Open!" She said starting to hit the locker. Then she heard a deep chuckle behind her and she spun around mad, but froze. The guy behind her had shaggy black hair, he was tall, green eyes, and dressed all in black. She never really found that dark goth look hot, but He was hott.
"Thank you." He laughed.
"Oh my goodness. Did I say that outloud?" He nodded and smiled.
"Need help?" He said gestuing to the locker. All Charlie could do was nod. He walked up so close that she could feel the heat coming from his body. She swallowed and looked at him. He plucked the combination out of her hand and reached over her and opened the locker on the first try. He handed her back the combination and said, "See you around." then walked away before Charlie could say thank you. If she could because all she could really do was stare.

Charlie bent down to put the books in her locker, when a shadow came over her, she looked up and saw a girl. She was in heels, perfect clothes, perfect make-up, straight brunette hair, her eyes were hiding behind sunglasses. By her stance she had something to say, and Charlie knew it wasn't going to be nice.
"Hi?" Charlie said not really knowing what else to say.
"Stay away from Nate." She told Charlie, angry.
"I'm sorry, Who?" Having no clue who Nate was Charlie went back to taking her books out of her back pack.
"The guy you were just talking to, back off he is mine." She said crossing her arms.
"And you would be?" Charlie stood up and put everything in her locker, knowing that she wasn't going to opening it later without help. She has always had issues with lockers, they were satens creation, only wanted to open when they felt like it.
"Clarissa More." She said, obviously annoyed that she didn't already know. At that moment Charlie knew that this was the queen bee of the school.
"Well then I am sorry for talking to your boyfriend."
"Oh he isn't my boyfriend. Yet."
Charlie looked at her, was she really stacking claim on something she didn't already have? "What are you guys on like a break or something? You guys don't want to go out with each other yet or something?"
"No exactly... he doesn't know it, but we are suppose to be together. He is poopular... I'm popular. It is just high school 101." She said, but Charlie could tell she was distressed.
"Well then how I look at it, you have no claim yet. So..." Charlie grabbed her schedual and looked at it to find out where the class was, then she looked at the map she got of the school.
Clarissa stepped up to Charlie and wripped the paper out of her hands. "You don't want to be on my badside little girl, you really don't know who you are messing with."
Charlie clearly wasn't a bad person, but there was just something about this girl that made her mad. The popular girls always made her mad, thinking they were better than everyone, well all the one she had met were anyway. "Clearly I am messing with a desperate witch with a capital B." Chalie snatched her schedual back, "And did anyone ever tell you that it is not nice to snatch. Where are you manners?" She closed her locker and walked away to go find her class, leaving Clarissa to stand there by herself, after being told off.
Charlie had never done that to anyone, she was a nice person. What was she thinking? She knew this was going to come back to bite her, the new girl with no friends telling off, probably the most popular girl in school and it was all that guy, Nate's fault. If it weren't for him she would never had met his stalker and everything would be fine. This was going to be a long year, Charlie just knew it.
Sighing she finally found her classroom, she walked in and went up the teacher and said that she was new.
"If you can find a seat when the whole class is here, you are more than welcome to sit in that seat."
"Thank you." Charlie said and waited, she watched the door waiting for class to start so that she could put her stuff down. The bell rang and she looked around for a seat there were two in the back, one next to a well dressed boy with his notebook already open, and the other next to a kid already asleep. Charlie thought that the well dressed kid would better benefit her, so she sat there. When she sat down she put her books on the floor and pulled out her notebook and a pen.
"Hi... I'm Daniel." I kid said to her. "Are you knew? Where did you transfer from?" He said just shooting questions at her. She smiled.
"I'm Charlie." She said trying to stop the questions. "I came from a school out west." She said. "Nice to meet you. She said reaching her hand out for him to shake it.
He took her hand, then dropped it. "Are you smart? Becasuse it would really be nice to have a real conversation with someone." He asked.
"You ask strange questions. what if I was crazy?" Charlie asked joking around.
"Well then we would fit right in together." He leaned into whisper to her "I hear things... seriously. I am a diagnosed scisophrenic." He said laughing. "I don't have many friends, people think I am weird." He said.
"Well don't worry, I'll be your friend. And FYI, I think I just picked a fight with the top dog." Charlie said. She knew today was going to go bad and it had. The second bell rang and the teacher told the class that Charlie was knew. "Come up here and say something." Charlie nodded and got up and headed up front, She got halfway down the crowded isle and someone tripped her. She looked up and saw the kid Nate and glared at him. The whole class errupted in laughter, Nate looked at her and one of his friends turned into a three year old and sang. "I see london, I see france, I see the new girls underpants." And everyone started to laugh even harder.
