I hit the brakes hard when Aniah screamed, "What is goin on back there?!"

I ignored Jake, "What do you mean same mark????" I asked, my mind racing.

I pulled over and looked between them both, "What are you guys talking about?"

"That just can't be!" I yelled more, "You haven't been brought to the house yet!!!!!"

"Wait what?" I looked from Aniah to Liz and saw the faint beginning of an outline of the cresen moon starting to show. "Uhm... Sh/t! One of us here is a Tracker now and my guess is it's me." I frowned. "Great."

I looked between them frightend "your mark is a cresent just like the mark on my forhead" i whisperd still wantign to know what the hell was happening to me.

"Ummmmmm, well its a bit hard to explain so we should take you to our house and get you settled and our high priestess will get your stuff later." i replied and tole Jake to go onn and go back to the house of night.

I looked at aniah and nodded "is it a bad thing that i have a cresent on my forhead like you do" i asked softly i looked at her curiously "does Jake have one too" i asked as well.

"its not a bad thing, no. And yeah, jake has one to." i sighed.

I nodded my head "wow so ikm guessing my life is never going to be normal again not that it was in the first place" i whisperd and wiped a tear away.

She started to cry, "No, no, no, no. Youre life is going to be normal, it will just take time to get used to. And its nothing to be ashamed of, and the people that judge us for it are ba$tard$, that dont know anything of what theyre talking about." I finished and gave her a hug, "Youre gonna be fine."

I smiled as she hugged me "thankyou you are so kind" i looked at Jake "you are really lucky to have him and i mean that as in you are lucky to have someone to care for you so well i never had that" i shrugged.

"You're welcome. There isn't any point in being mean. And I'm here for you, okay? I care about you even though I only met you today. I can tell that I can trust you and that you have a lot of potential, you just need to believe in yourself." I told her.

I parked the car at the house and then turned back to Liz and wiped my forehead clean, "Yeah I'm Marked too." I finally said.

"Well on that note, lets go in and get you a room and a mentor. You'll like our High Priestess."
I said and got out of the car.

I smiled and walked into the huge building with them "nice mark Jake" i tried to joke with him and looked at Aniah and winked i had a feeling we could be good friends.

Liz wnked at me. She's going to be a good friend. I smiled.

i smiled back as she led me into the building in looked around it was pretty warm feeling in this place i thought.

As we walked on I started not to feel too well. This was the second time today. "Hey, you guys go ahead, I'll catch up." I said sitting down under a big tree.

I looked back at Jake "are you sure and thanks for bringing me here and not just leaving me to probably die" i smiled at him.

I forced a smiled, "Yeah sure, no problem. You guys go on. If I'm not there in 5 minutes I'll be in the courtyard."

I nodded my haed "okey see you later and thanks agian" i looked at Aniah.

I forced another smile and waved

"Be safe." I gave him a wry smile. Then turned to Liz, "Ready?"

I nodded "yeah i think so lead the way" i smiled and followed her.
