Denial

I gave a sigh and lay down on my back in the grass. I hoped it wouldn't always be like this, him going off because he was hungry. Just then my stomach growled, I was getting pretty hungry myself. I got up slowly and tried to see if there was a bush around anywhere close, hoping Kiefer wouldnt get worried if he got back and I wasnt here

"Gotcha!" i grunted as i pounced down from a tree, landing on a helpless coyote. i bit it's neck forcefully and let the cool blood drip down my throat, filling my veins with such a pleasure. i wiped my red stained mouth and headed back to where i had left my beautiful Sayla. i hoped i hadnt scared her off with all the leaving i had done lately.

"Yes!" I cheered almost silently to myself as I found a bush full of berries. I grabbed a hand full and shoved them in my mouth, they tasted sort of like raspberries. I smiled with the feeling of filling inside my small tummy. I began to eat more, not caring that the juice from the berries would be all over my face. I hoped Kiefer wouldnt be back by the tiime I got back, I didnt want him to get overly worried about me

"Sayla! Sayla! Where are you!" Wher i had left her was completly abandoned!

As I shoved the last of the berries in my mouth as I heard Kiefer call for me. I came out of the bushes and saw Kiefer. "I'm right here." I shrugged throwing some berries into my mouth

"Oh where did u go? I said I would be right back,"

"Well I got hungry so I went and found this amazing berries." I held them up to him with a smile

"Oh cool, hey look over there!" i pointed behind her and when she fell for it i snatched the last berry away from her hand. "Haha!" i giggled and started to run away slowly, seeing if she would chase after me.

"HEY!" I said as he grabbed it from my hand. I began to run after him and leaped, landing on his back with laughs

"Ugh those berries made you gain some flubber there missy!!" i joked

I slapped his head. "Watch it!"

"No i think you should watch it!!" i joked again and poked her tummy. But this time when she went to hit me again i kissed her cheek, making her heart swell

I smiled. "You better watch yourself tubs."

"Ugh im offended missy pie!" laughed and threw her over my shoulder in one single motion

I began to go into a fit of giggles, hitting his back with my fists. "Let me down!" I demanded

"Do you not know the magic words? Even vampires know the magic words!!" i teased and lifted her higher above my head.

I growled at him playfully. "Now!" I giggled

"Oh but those are not them!" i giggled

I laughed back. "Please Kiefer!" I pleaded

"Okie beautiful." i put her down lightly.

I brushed down my shirt and gave a sigh. "Why thank you." I smiled at him

i giggled at her cutenesss

I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked lovingly into his eyes.

"Why so serious love?"

I sighed. "I don't know, I just felt like I needed to be near you." I could feel my cheeks go pink and begin to burn
