After reading Hidden I actually kinda started to like Nicole. A person who cares about the school's horses and saves them from a fire at the cost of inhaling a lot of smoke can't be an entirely bad person. And Nicole certainly did help to save the horses. She also seems to be getting a lot nicer - I hope for good.

| I know she may seem selfish for saying she's on "Team Nicole" but I think it's smart for her to look after herself, especially in a time of war. She is her own priority as it should be.
Why should she join a team where she is unwanted and hated? Why wade into a battle you want no part of?

A bit selfish, maybe, but also self-perserving (did I spell that right?) which at this point of the story may actually be a good thing. There's absolutely no need for her to meddle in a battle that's not hers. | |
