I'd fallen asleep, and woke up, on a couch, in some mansion. I forgot where I was for a second. Then I realized the past events. Where had he put her. I needed to see her. Now. I didn't even know how I'd gotten to sleep!

| I listened carefully, hearing a familular faint snore in a room. I ran into it, and looked at her. "Hey, you awake?" I asked quietly.
"Yeah," I said groggily, sitting up and rubbing my eyes. I got up from the bed, and took his hand.
We walked out into the living room again, unsure of what to do.
I was thirsty, but didn't mention it. I could contain myself for the time being. | |
