Gemma Doyle Trilogy.

Kay, I just finished A Sweet Far Thing....LOVED it! XD

it was awesome! the trilogy was all around great.
but a sweet far thing was so sad.

It's really sad that Kartik stayed.
And when Ann left the first time I was little mad at her, but it was still sad.
And Felicity...OMYGOSH she was really blinded by Pippa.
And Gorgon was just awesome. And despite her annoyances, Circe, Miss Moore, Sarah whatever you wanna call her, was perty cool on the end as well. She was definitely a different sort of "bad guy"

none of the characters were actually that bad. but pippa was terrible. i coldnt stand her at times, she just bothered me soo much.

I love this books! I haven't read the third book yet, I'm waiting for it someone to return it to my library.

I loved these books. I read them a while agoo though. I wasn't aware of the third book either.

I can't wait to read the third book.

i think my favorite characters had to be Gorgon and Kartik, i LOVED Kartik

i actually cried at the end of book three. it takes a lot to make me cry when reading.
But i loved loved loved LOVED Kartik.
Gemma and Pippa were my favorite female characters. Even when Pippa went dark side is still liked her. I have a soft spot for really good villains. *Insert Evil Laugh Here.*

Who's Pippa? Is that Penelope?
And yeah I cried a lot too. I ove Kartik. But I hated the ending.

Pippa is the girl who, i think hated Gemma like the whole entire time ( can't remember exactly, but let me know if im wrong(
Kartik was amazing in all of the books, and the last one was just amazing but i was really sad that the tree took him because him and Gemma couldn't be together anymore, it was so sad

Pippa, is that the girl Felicity is in love with? Because then the canged her name to Penelope when they translated the book to Swedish. Are the other girl's names Ann and Felicity? Or have they changed those names too?

Yes, Pippa is the one that Felicity falls in love with. I never knew they changed characters' names in books when they're translated. Very interesting.

I love the series so much! I've re-read it three times. The last book still makes me cry every time.

And Nightchild, its common that they would change the names when translating. For some reason names get changed when books are published in other countries. Example being, in an Alex Rider short story, there was a teacher named Miss Treat. In the American Version of it, her name was changed to Miss Summers for some odd reason.

Haha I just think it's stupid. There's no need to change the names just because you translate the books. But anyway, I actually like the name Penelope better than Pippa.
I wish there would come out a 4th book >.< at least an little short story so you know what happens to the characters.

i do like pippa better for the story cause i like imaging them saying it with their english accents.
