Heritage *Started but OPEN*

I blushed in embarressment and looked at the ground

"I didn't say that" I retaliated

i stroked her face.
'i look forward to working with you,' i smiled.

'you implied it,' i huffed and turned to the side so i could leave the room. a sofa had been pushed up against the door and the weird smoke thing from earlier was in front of it.

I smiled, "As I do you" I told him

I turned to see the smoke thing, I frowned, "It's back"

i grinned.

i pulled a 'no sh*t sherlock' face.
'yeah and it's blocking my way out of here.' i said giving the shape a glare.

I grinned back..felling kinda stupid

I looked at the thing blocking the dorrway outa here

the black thing roiled around and started forming a roughly humanish shape, though it was still just cloud. i picked up the wireless xbox controller from off the ground and threw it at the thing. it stopped and dropped to the floor. the next thing i knew two lamps were shot at us, one at me and one at ben. i ducked and mine shattered behind me.

'well what do you suggest we do?' i snapped at him. the black smokey thing glided forward it's half formed arm reaching out to me.
'oh hell no,' i said. 'i've seen movies it is so not touching me.' i backpedaled and ran behind ben.

'i'm gonna agree with you on that one,' i said peering over his shoulder as the smoke thing still walked towards us.

'dunno first maybe second floor i think,' i said unsure. 'why?'

i looked out the window.
'only if you go first to break my fall.' we were actaully four storeys up, though i didnt remember going up any stairs.

'it's a lot futher down than we thought.' i whispered as the thing shifted around. it looked as though it was sensing our next movements because it changed direction and made an attempt to block the window.

'looks like it,' i said and shivered. 'what do we do now?'

(rachelle none of them have ever met their biological fathers or even know that much about them except there power )

i tried to fling it away but it didnt budge, the lights in the room dimmed.
'it's not working.' i tried to hurl the sofa at it but something was holding it down.

'what are we going to do?' i said more frantically as i clutched the back of his shirt. 'i dont want that thing anywhere near me.'

'someone's coming into the room,' i said to ben. the smoke thing turned and gave a shrieking hiss so loud it hurt my ears.
