"Calm down" I wtold her, "It's an affinity"

i grabbed her arm and soothed the flames, drawing them into the palm of my hand. iggy mewed and curled up my arm rolling on the fire. i smiled and stroked him.
'everything's ok now.' i said as iggy jumped to my shoulder. i extinguished the flames in my hand with a flick of my wrist.

I smiled

i poked my tongue out at rose, grinning.
'so what's this ritual thing 'sposed to be like?' i asked.

I poked my tongue out back, "I dunno" I said, "Like every other ritual..we go in, the professors talk a bit and then we leave and eat"

'mm eating,' i said happily.

I laughed, "I wonder what's there to eat tonight"

'i dont mind anything,' i said as my stomach growled. 'as matter of fact i'm starved now.'

I walked over to my closet, I opened it and found my stach of Doritoes, "Here" I said tossing him a packket

'ooo cheese my favourite,' i grinned as i tore into a pack. 'i love these things.'

"Everyone does" I said leaning over and taking one

'you're right,' i laughed. 'this is up there with chocolate and halo in the coolness chart.'

I laughed, "Definately" I agreed, "We need to play some more Halo soon" I added

'yup,' i agreed. 'we could have played it tonight but we have to go to this silly ritual.' i laughed. 'i've only been to one they do here before right at the beginning to be fair it gave me the willies.'

"well they're expecting us at this one" I said, "So we can't really skip it"

'i know, but i always thought we were supposed to worship nyx at these things.' i shrugged.

I shrugged, "I don't know" I said, "You should know that...I've been with you every ritual playing halo"

i grinned. 'yeah fun times.' i said laughing.

I laughed, "Especially when I beat you"

'yeah well i still blame the controller.' i mumbled.

I rolled my eyes, "There was nothing wrong with that controller"

'it kept going to the left on it's own accord.' i protested.

"Maybe it was getting you back from tickling me in the middle of playing" I said, "You know I'm useless when you tickle me"

'yeh cute though,' i said grinning.
