Hey guys, this is my story about six teenagers. They all get Evolved in a world of evolved humans (Like HEROES if anyone watches that) and once they do evolve they go to a school Called The House of Evolved (Yeah kinda like HoN I couldn't think of a better name but when I do it'll change) Anyway, I'll start with the preface. It does have a little bit of language as we go on.

-Preface-
Anne

I walked along the pathway. The cold air swirled around me. Cars were parked around me, god this party was gonna be packed. After a few minutes the road curved and a large house came into view surrounded by trees. The lights were on from the window and music could be heard. Along with it were people's screaming and jeering. As I reached closer to the house a white (From what I could see in the light of the moon) picket fence followed the house along. I reached the front gate, and as it was already open, I walked along the stone path leading to the front porch. I climbed up the stairs, the sounds were getting louder. The music was *edit your post and this will go away*. Some RnB crap. I knocked on the door, but it took several knocks until someone answered. They opened the door and there, standing at the foot of it was a guy. He was pretty tall, with blonde hair messed up, like he just woke up. His eyes shined with excitement at my arrival. I smiled and greeted him with a kiss. As I stepped into the room I took notice of the clothes he was wearing. He had a Mr. Men shirt on, it was Mr. messy. It made me smile, just like him. His jeans were a light shade of blue with rips along them, his converse were red. He grabbed my hand and led me through to the front room. There was a staircase that obviously took you to the other floor. The front room was painted a deep crimson colour, it had a lamp hanging from the ceiling, and everything had a gothic feel to it, with everything being wooden, brown, dark red and gold. Two people sat on the sofa, curled into each other with their lips locked into a kiss.
'Riley, where are we going?!' I shouted at him (I had to shout over the noise of the music) he looked back as he dragged me by my hand into the living room. The room was fairly large with one of those flat screen TV’s hung against the wall. In the middle of the room there was a large rectangular fish tank which lit the place a dark blue colour. At the end of the room was a pair of glass doors that took you to the back porch.
'You'll see,' all around us people were eating crisps, popcorn and who knows what else. Some screamed and swore, while others were (Somehow) sleeping. He took me through the living room to the glass doors. Through them you could see the garden. He slid the door open and pulled me along. We walked along the porch and down the stairs. We started following the pathway along the garden, it was huge. Filled with different plants and trees, when we were far into the garden, he sat down with me. The stars could be seen overhead. I rest my head upon his chest and felt his heart beat, it was soothing. My fingers entwined with his and we sat there watching the stars. Nothing could ever be so perfect.
'Hey, um. So I've been thinking. About us, I mean.' I looked into his green eyes.
'Yeah,' somehow fear started engulfing me. Was he trying to break up with me?
'Well, I think we need to talk,' crap. That's always a really bad sign. I sighed knowing what was coming, it happens to often to us.
'So I've been thinking. Do you want to move in with me?' I jumped up in excitement.
'What?!' I started smiling.
'Yeah, I mean, we practically live at each other's, so why not move in? There's no point in going to each other's, might as well just move in with me eh?' I smiled and looked into his eyes.
'Yeah. Yeah ok. I'll move in with you,' we laughed and he kissed me, I know he was excited. He wrapped his arms around me and I felt so happy. I wanted to laugh for no reason, or to smile and never stop. From all that, we didn’t notice that the music had stopped, we both looked up at where the house should be.
'That's weird, the party shouldn't end for another hour or two,' Riley said as he stood up, I followed his movement.
'Eh, maybe someone called the cops?'
'But, no-ones close enough to hear anything,' he was right. I gripped his arm tightly.
'Maybe I should go check it out?' He looked at me, and I saw the fear in his eyes. He started walking but I pulled him back.
'Riley, what if something's bad happened? I mean, aren’t we more safe here? Even the people stopped. Something's wrong.'
'Anne, It's alright,' the fear betrayed his voice, 'you stay here, I'll be right back.' He started walking away and slowly the darkness engulfed him. I stood there, the light of the moon shining down on me. The wind howled around me and something felt weird. Like someone was watching me. I looked around and saw darkness and shadows. The cold night air whipped around me, it felt cold and harsh. Not friendly like it was minutes ago, then I head something. A breathing noise. I jumped round facing the noise.
'H-hello? Anyone there?' The only reply was silence. I gulped my fear down, but it wouldn’t die. Slowly, I turned away and started making my way towards the house. As I was walking I heard a bush behind me swish. It wasn’t with the wind. I knew that. My breathing started getting sharper and my pace quickened. I looked back and nothing was there. The wind stopped and there was silence. Only my breathing could be heard. Was it only me? Was I making this up in my mind? I sighed and stood still. Ugh. Where's Riley? And in an instant something grabbed my shoulder, a warm rough hand.
'Riley, there you are, is it all right back in the -' I stopped as I turned round to face the person. I screamed and felt pain. A burning pain flash across my chest. I fell to the ground, my eyes staring at the sky as the stars shined above me. The person moved making its way back to the house. I could feel myself going. Weakly I touched my breast were the pain was, I was bleeding. My vision started to blur, and my eyes went out of focus. My hand hit the floor and with my last breath, I said 'Riley' to the cold night air.
