I rolled my eyes and looked back at the new guy

I rolled my eyes at her selfishness. Just ignore her. I told myself and looked back down at the apple.

I saw them all stare at me and instantly I was embarrased. "I'll see you guys next period... I... I gotta go" I lied. I got up and raced out of there. I made my way to my truck and breather then called my mom and yoldher I missed her. I heard the bell ring and made my way to biology.

I headed to biology and walked into the room just as the bell went. I took my regular seat at a table where I always sat. Alone, of course. I stared down at my hands, bending and un bending my fingers

I made it to class a few seconds after the bell, Mr. Riviera was up and passing out papaers, "Ah, Chrystian. Welcome to Forks, you can take the seat in the back, by Mr. Cullen." When I walked in my eyes went to him, he looked... uncomfortable.

My stomach had churned with such a strong longing nad my throat burned so bad when that new guy walked through the door. So his name was Chrystian. Negative thoughts swarmed my head. so many different ways I could kill him. I tensed all my muscles and put a fist against my mouth. I couldn't... Betray my father like this. No. I just can't. But.. he smells so good.. and its only one human. I fought with myself. and glared at him.

I looked over at the guy who's name was Michael, He looked like he had something against me..
Like I stunk or something, I smelled my shirt secretly, I smelled good today.. And mostly everyday.
He just stood there glaring for a long time. As soon as the bell rang he got up and walked out. What the hell? I thought to myself.

I walked from that room as quickly as I could and got into my car leaving the school. Not bothering to wait for my family. I had to see my father. As soon as I could. I was still thinking of his scent while i sped down the road

I tried to forget about him, and the way he acted, but I couldn't.
I thought about it during Gym class, I tried to avoid all contact with the sport we were playing.
I got home, anticipating the next day so I could ask him what his problem was.
My dad took me out to eat for the first time and ran into people who knew me back when I was younger.
I smiled and nodded, trying to act like I remembered them, even though I didn't.
The next day came and I was hoping to see him in his silver Volvo, but he never showed.
It was like that for a week.
Tuesday came and I gave up on the thought of him coming back to school.
I walked into my Science class and there he was.. sitting there, I was shocked.
I hesitated on my way to the seat, I sat down trying to think of how to finally talk to him, but I couldn't bring out the words.

I closed my eyes for a brief second when he walked into the room. I'd hunted until i felt I might burst and yet that burning was still there. I made sure not to breathe even though it was such a habbit. Checking to make sure my chest still rose and fell like I was breathing, I was satisfied to a point. I turned to him when he sat down. "Hello, I'm Michael Cullen. You're Chrystian.. Correct?" that seemed polite enough to me.

I was shocked that he was talking, even more shocked that he was talking to me, "Yes." After my answer the teacher started talking about our lesson for the day. Something about onion root tip cells. I'd done this before in Texas so I knew what to do already. We had to label it into the phases of Mitosis. "Y- you were gone..?" It sounded more like a statement, but it was meant as a question.

I glanced at the table then back at him. "Yes.. I was out of town." I smiled a bit "Personal reasons" I watched him to gage his reaction. I tried to get into his head but I couldn't. That frustrated me.

I smiled a little after looking into the microscope, "Prophase.." I slid it towards him.

"Mind if I check?" I arched my brow and pulled the microscope to me. I hadn't stopped looking at him yet.

"No, go ahead.." I said giving it to him, he was staring at me again, or it was just my imagination, I wasn't sure.

I glanced into the microscope and mumbled "Prophase..." I scrawled it onto our assignment paper smoothly. I pulled the slide off the micrscope and put the nexted on in. Glancing through a said "Anaphase..." I pushed the microscope towards him.

" Like I said...Mind if I check it?" I tooked it and looked through, "Anaphase.." I sighed.

"Like I said." I grinned about then glanced at the table again. "So..uh.. Are you enjoying the weather?" well now that was smooth. I told myself and clenched the hand that wasn't in veiw.

I let out a gasp of air that I was holding in, "Your asking me about the weather?" I smiled, "Well, uh, I don't really like the rain. Any cold, wet thing I don't really..." I shook my head and looked down.

That puzzled me. But I smiled and laughed a little. "The why move to the wettest place in the continent of the U.S.?" I kept my eyes on him and I couldn't look away.

I smiled, "Well, uh... My mom remarried uhmmm, and Phil is.. really nice... He's a minor leauge baseball player and he travels alot. I used to stay home with my mother, but I saw it made her unhappy... So, I figured I'd stay with my dad for a while." I sighed and looked at the next slot and wrote down metaphase.

I studied his face. "So.. Now you're unhappy...?" It was more of a statement but it came out more like a question. My curiousity kept growing the longer I talked to this Human. Despite the reaction I have to his scent.
