I was running late again. Any way I needed to be at Mark's by four if we were going to watch the game. I always came over to his house because his TV reception actually worked. I grabbed my coat off the bed post taking a second to toss my hair and grabbed a slice of pizza from the fidge as I jogged out the door.

I clomped up to Mark's house skipped the last step and knocked a beat on the cracking wood.

I looked at Rose and Em confused on why they was standing in the door frame. "Where's Mark?" I asked.

i guess i got what i wanted.....all of our friends hear for mark and i say that we were together...." he's here" i told him

Hm..... Not what you would expect from Em, but who am I to judge. "Hey do you have any chips in this place? God I'm starving." I got up and grabbed some Gatorade from the fridge.

I turned the television on drowning out Em and Rose's bickering. I wish Mark would return from La la Land.
