A Sister's Love [X]

I smiled and walked with them. I didn't feel like leaving yet but the bell did ring. I walked into class and I had someone sitting in my seat. I looked at Rose "Should I ask him to move? He's sitting in my seat....Or should we just move?"

I walked to class with Carla.

I had class with the sister's friends. I sat back and stretched. Maybe I could get some info about Rose from one of them...

i saw sammy come into the classroom i had class in! this made me joyous.

"I would. those are our seats sammy."


"i really hope rose never gets that sick again alice.......sammy was so sad and worried....."

I walked over to the guy that was sitting in our seat and tucked some of my hair behind my ear "I'm really sorry but your kind of sitting in my seat." I said it as sweetly as I could.

"I know right? Sammy lost so much sleep cause of that! I'd be surprized if she even made it through a full day of school without falling asleep!"

I listened to the girls.

"sammy told when we got there that rose had been coughing up blood! rose is so sweet tho....and they had to do surgry......and you know how she hates hospitals......she probably had a panic attack....no wonder sammy was rushing to get back to rose....."

she was talking to me.....YES!..."sorry...i didnt know.....i um just moved here over the weekend...."

i smiled as sammy told him sweetly to get away from our table.

I similed a little. "So your new....I'm Sammy Grace. I hope you like it here." I knew I had to be nice. I looked at rose and back to him. "You can sit infront of me and my sister and talk to us if you would like? We'd be glad to help you."

"I know! Poor Sammy! She probably had a fit the entire time! She's like super protective of her sister! Like no kidding!"

I mentally took notes.

"Im Jake and id like that." i stood up and sat down in the chair in front of hers.

i sat down at our table. "i hate it when my vibes are right." i whispered to sammy.

"uh huh!" thats when i noticed a new guy....i think he'd been listening to us.....he was really hot....."And who are you?" i asked him.

I smiled and nodded at him and elbowed Rose in the arm lightly "be nice" I wispered. "He's new! you know what that was like!"

I watched as Carla asked him a question.

"I'm......ummmmm....Adam. Sorry I didn't mean to listen in. I'm new here. Arn't you two like best friends with the sisters here?" I tryed to get a little information out of them without seeming suspishous.

"and if we are friends with them why does it matter to you? they dont date. but alice and i do."

i sighed she was right. i nodded. "Im Rose Elizabeth. welcome to our school and town."

"thanks." i said to rose. but i was more interested in her sister. Sammy Grace......

I chuckled a little "So I've heard. I hear Sammy likes horses and animals but what does rose like? I'm just curious."

I smiled alittle at him. I wanted to be nice "Where did you move from?"

I laughed when Carla told Adam that. She was right. The sisters never dated anyone when they really really should.

i rolled my eyes at him. "Rose likes simple things. she doesnt even have any posters on her walls. there just this color blue she likes. alice does rose even have any romance novels hidden in that room of hers?"

"Vermont. a tiny town called Norwich. they only have an elemtary school so once your done with 6th grade you go to school in hanover,NH. its home to dartmouth college." i told her.


i looked this new boy over he was cut but not my type. no guys around here we're my type.

I thought for a minute "No she doesn't. I have to remember to buy her some one day."

I smiled at him. He was kinda cute and he seemed nice. That's when my baby monitor went off. I looked at rose and gave her a hug "Sorry." I looked at the new guy "Sorry I have to go. I have a foal that is coming and I have to go help her. I'll be back tomorrow. I'm really sorry." I gathered my things and went to go out to my car. I remembered I left my cell phone on my desk. I didn't bother to go get it. I would be ok.

I smiled a tad. I wanted to get to know her better.

i was sad to see her go but i knew shed be back tomorro...or the day after.

"Then thats what im giving her as a prestent for holidays and birthdays. they both need romance bu rose needs it more.......she's too bitter and serious....."

i took sammy's cell and put it in my pocket. itd be safe with me. the bell rang.

I laughed "I know right? She only jokes with Sammy!"

I got to thinking. "You think you guys might be able to introduce me to her?"

I drove to the barn as quickly as I could. I ran into the barn. She was already halfway out. I smiled and went in to help her. That's when everything got fuzzy. When I went in she dropped and kicked me in the chest along with my arm. I got thrown to the wall and laid on the floor gasping for air. I reached to try to get my phone but I had left it in school.

"Sure. but i dont know if she'll talk to you."

when i was in the hallway i felt like id been kicked in the chest......sammy....she needed me.... i ran out to my car and drove home.... i texted carla.

i feel like somethings happened to sammy. im heading home.....


my phone vibrated... i read the text... "looks like we cant after all lover boy. shes gone home. shes got this feeling sammy needs her."

i went about my day getting looks from everyone. i sighed. i hated being new.

when i was in the driveway i shut off my car and ran to the barn.

The stall door was closed but I couldn't move let alone hardly breath. The foal came over and laid down and let me prop myself up on her.

I frowned a little "What about tomorrow? And is her sister ok?"

I watched the text come through. Poor Sammy..I didn't know her that well but I hopped she would be ok.

"I dont know whats wrong with sammy. rose will only be back when sheknows her sister is ok. they are very dependent on each other. their mom and dad are never home."

"sammy? where are you?!?!?"

i would be happy when i could go 'home'.

"I'm very sorry to hear that. They both seem like very sweet girls." I looked sad.

I could hardly breath let alone talk so I slapped my hand against the side of the stall. The foal was holding me up which I liked.

I looked at Carla while she talked. Sammy or Rose never did talk about their parents. Some people just assumed that they were dead.

"They are once you get to know them. took forever for us to be their best friends.....they try to keep to themselves and yet their the most popular girls in school.... we love their cars......rose has this really nice blue mustang. sammy has a truck that she likes to drive but she also has this really sweet s2000 Honda....i got to drive it a couple days ago. i want one so bad....."


it was last period. thank god!


i ran to her. the baby horse was here and it proping sammy up. "sammy whats wrong? where does it hurt?"

I smiled "Rose's car sounds sweet! I hope we can be friends." I really wanted to get to know her.

I smiled while Carla talked about Sammy and Rose. She was completely right.

I motioned for her to come here. My breath was shallow I could barelly breathe. "I was helping Winny give birth and she kicked me in the chest and my arm. My arm is broken and I think I punctured a lung."

"Im calling 911." i took out my phone..theyd send one right away.


"It is sweet. alice does rose's car handle nicely?"


i wanted school to be over. NOW.

I smiled at Carla."It handles very nicely! Like a dream. Sammy likes to use her honda as a bit of a racing car. She just put a brand new motor didn't see Carla?"

I closed my eyes. This hurt a lot. I had had this before but man it felt like I was breathing through a tube. I reached for my sisters hand with my good hand.

I listened to the girls and took notes. I wated to know as much about her as I could.

i smiled. "Its fast.....really fast..... you know maybe rose could get used to a guy like you....maybe you could convince her that love is good and amazing...god knows shes still a virgin...sammy is a virgin too....i dont even think either of them have been kissed by a boy."

i wanted to fall asleep. i was so tired.

the ambulance came and took her on the strecher...i followed in my car.

I smiled and sat back in my seat "You know you girls are very sweet! I'm glad I met you!"

I blushed when he said that. I wasn't expecting that.

I felt myself being moved. I wanted my sister but I knew I would see her soon. The ambulance was cold and quiet. all I could hear was them talking and poking me with needles.

"your just using me and alice for info......but i kind of want you to crak rose's surface..... its just they..well rose more specificaly needs to be loved...because if she loves someone then sammy will know that love is natural....." i said thoughtfuly....


i took a short cut so i could drive faster and park and then be in there when she came in....

"Sammy's afraid to love someone? That doesn't add up...And I am not using you for information. I really do like you girls!"

I smiled. I knew he was serious!

The Ambulance stopped and I was in the sunlight again. I looked around for Rose.
