i wake up. and stare at Stone as he sleeps.

I woke up next to Brim...wondering how I got there. I cuddled next to her, kind of terrified of what my heart did as I did so. She made me feel complete. I looked at her sleeping. She looked so peaceful. I slept better than I had in two years next to her.

I slow ly start to wake up

i start poking him in the chest. repeatedly saying
"wake up."

"I wont" i said softly.

laughing "why are you picking on little ole me"

I got in the driver's side and drove her to the hospital. When we got there, the doctor took her in and put stitches in her head. I was allowed to stay with her hand held her hand through the whole thing.

"how did yu sleep?"

I kiss her back "like a rock it has been awhile since i slept that good,, how about you"

i really wanted to sleep....i was so tired....

"as long as i slept thats all that matters honey...."

"hey i'm hungry. I want to go hunting. yu do hunt? or is there like a rule in the rogue handbook that says humans are off limits?"

"they arent off limits ,but I never killed a human to eat just for sport." I pull her hand to my mouth and kiss it. "we will find you some one to eat "

i laugh.
"yu should try it. but not today. i'm not up for the screaming"
shrug my shoulders
"i'll settle with an animal. or i could just bite yu"
i smile

"hmm I might like the second option I would give to freely all that you need " i smiled hopeing she would know i was serious.

"When we get home, you can sleep. I promise. " I kissed her forehead.

"But i want to sleep now...." i whispered.

"You might have a concussion. Not yet."

"yu would do that for me?"

i closed my eyes...."I need too sleep....."

"No. Fire, baby you have to stay awake. Please." I shook her. "I can't lose you."
