The Fairest of Them All

I had given him the medicine and nodded. I handed him to Andrew. and smiled a tad.

I sighed and rocked Hazel back and forth.

Andrew rocked Damien. All of his loved were sick. He felt so sad.

I sat down on the bed and watched. "That should help....It should break within the...." My voice trailed off when I heard William cry. "hour" I finished "I'll be back" I walked back to the nursery and came back with William. I rocked him.

I stroked andrew's face. "It'll all be okay."

I walked back into my bedroom with Will in my arms and smiled at them. I sat down next to Shelby and rocked him.

"Is Will okay?" I asked Alice.

I smiled. I had forgotten that she hadn't seen him yet. "So far. I know he has whatever they do but I'm not going to give him any asprin til I feel a fever."

"He looks just like Sam." I told her, reaching for his hand. "Hey there, little guy. I'm your Aunt Shelby."

Damien was still pretty hot. Andrew sighed. "I'm going to go get some cold rags for Hazel and Damien." He walked down stairs and to the kitchen. He got two rags and got them wet in cold water. He placed one on Damien and he instantly calmed down. He went upstairs and placed the second one on Hazel.

I smiled at her "He's like a feather compaired to hazel and daimen. He's so tiny....He was premature..." I looked at Andrew. I still had that day playing in my head. I wanted to badly to hear from him that Will would be ok and that the danger was over but I knew that wasn't going to happen.

I felt Hazel calm down. "Thank you, baby.". I said to Andrew. "He's going to make it." I told Alcie. "He's a born fighter. " I winced as the memory of Andrew's brawl with Sam came flooding back to me.

Andrew kissed Hazel then Shelby. "Your welcome."

I laughed "You have no idea...." I coughed a little. "He's just like his dad." I looked at andrew. I didn't even want to mention that I was in danger also. he knew what the coughing ment....I just hopped the doctor would make it here in time to check everyone out.

"I love you..." I whispered to all five of them. "All of you." I smiled at Alice. "Yeah, he'll make it."

Andrew smiled. "Love you too." He kissed her. He looked down at Damien and he was asleep. "When the doctor comes tomorrow were going to have him check them all out. And you two." He said to Alice and SHelby

I smiled at him "good idea!"

"Okay." I was too weak and stressed to argue.

"If you want I'll have him check me and Sam out too. Just while he's at it." He kissed Shelby.

"I'd like that" I smiled.

I kissed him back. "Yeah. If whatever I have is contagious, I'm sure you have it too."

"Ok then its settled."

I layed my head on Andrew's shoulder and closed my eyes. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." He saw that Hazel and Damien were both asleep.

I smiled and stroked Hazel's face.
