| I looked down at the vampires from Beauty's back and said, "I'm buying us some more time." I had thought I had created a huge split in the land that the army would have to go around, trying buy us maybe an hour max. But when I looked at the shaking earth, I noticed it was the trees that shook and not the land. WTF, I thought...oh no! I must have mispronounced ravine and said 'raven' instead...I saw a huge black shadow loom over the field. Quickly, I grabbed the hands of the two vampires and pulled them up on to Beauty's back with me. One sitting behind me and one in front of me, I kicked Beauty with my heels...and screamed "RUN LIKE THE WIND BEAUTY...RUN!!" | |
