"Yes," I said to Lyca "I take it back. Please forgive me, I should have never yelled." I dropped my eyes in a werewolf gesture of submission to prove the truth of my words. "What would you like me to do to make it up to you?" I whispered, still keeping my eyes down.

I giggled. "I think that we should go back to my room and talk some more, I am getting a little bit cold. But we need to feed first because I am running out of energy even though I just slept.
I transformed into a werewolf and went a took down a mountain lion and brought it back for me and Mann to eat. Then I shifted back. I took Mann;s hand and started walking back to the house.

I am not sure how you could pay it back but I am just thinking I want to cuddle with you for a bit. I will take it easy on you this time. and please don't feel ashamed or let down. I know how it feels and please just let it go I know how you feel nd I just want you to be happy right now as I am happy right now because I have you right by my side again. The one thing that I have always wanted and once again my dad has given it to me. he is good at that..." I sid laughing.

I met her eyes, they were sparkling with her laughter, I couldn't help but smile back. I wasn't going to forgive myself as easily as she forgave me. I lay next to her in bed and cuddled her close. Happy that she was safe in my arms, too. "Lyca dear," I started. "Can we please not think about your father and the vampire?" That situation left me with confused feelings and I just wanted to enjoy my time with her right now.

Thank you my dear. I stood up and took of my shirt and then laid down on the bed and motioned for her to lay down next to me.

Oh dear Mann, please just forget about what he said to you. He was just doing what he thought was best for both of us and he thinks you are mad at him for the vampire thing and that you want to kill him, he also thinks that you will never forgive him. He feels bad but has just realized that he has feelings for her. When is the last time you have known my dad to have feelings for anyone like that since my mom left him?
I cuddled close to Mann wanting to kiss him but I was unsure of where his mind was right now.

I just want to hold you close and never let you go and I am sorry for how nasty I was to you at the starting of this whole adventure thing but I just couldn't rish any chaces and the thing with Mann, well I knew my daughter would be joining us and the only reason that Mann hadn't of been with anyone was because he will wanted my daughter and my daughter just told me that she was coming back. Right as the war was beginning and I didn't want to see her heartbroken again and I didn't want to see Mann hurt you by leaving you once my daughter came back. I held her close and kissed her and I just wanted to make everything better just for her.

"Mann I don't want to scare you but I think I love you and I never ever want to let you go and I am not going to let you die out there, I will help keep you alive as long as you help keep me alive. I am not sure what we are doing or what is about to happen. but I know my dad will put you and me in the same group. I just hope that it is as easy as it sounds and if it is then we will have no problem killing that stupid thing. Ugh, I just want this to be over with so that I can be happily moved back into dads and I will never have to leave your side again.

Do you want to come down to the lake with me and we could lay down and look at the moon and at the stars. this might be the last time that we get to do it for awhile and I just want to spend happy times with you, because unlike my daughter I cannot think positive about everything and I usually think the worse of things unless it comes to my daughter or you. But please let's just make some happy times incase we don't get the chance to make anymore. I had a sad look in my face but tried to hide it from Saphire, who would my daughter and Mann be without me? Well my daughter would have Mann, but everyone would be lost without me. And one more thing. "What are we going to do after this war? I can't leave my group I am their leader but I don't want to lose you and I hope that you won't make me chose in betweeen you guys because then I dont see this going any further because I won't leave them especially Mann and my daughter or Rose. I just hope we can work this out for after the war. I want all 3 of you guys in my life, but I am guessing you will go back to your parents once we save them?

I returned her kisses, keeping pace with her effortlessly. I sat up and pulled her into my lap, gazing into Lyca's beautiful eyes. "Lyca, my dear sweet Lyca..." I softly breathed into her hair. "I hope you are right and I hope we do get through this war like you seem to think we will, but remember nothing is fair in love and war. We can die, not easily but we can and I hope I can keep you safe. Having you fighting out there beside me will be so hard." My face and hands tightened with emotion. "If we do make it out, I hope you will live where ever you wish but remember dear, I'm a big boy now. I have a place of my own. Your dad lives across town and I hope that you will choose to be near me."
