The eyes were blaring into me. The next thing I know I ran smack into a tree. I fell back and rubbed my head. This always happened if I got to consumed into the voices conversation.

I sighed. I was sitting in a tree when I felt a thump. I looked down and saw a girl rubbing her head. "You ok?" I asked jumping down.

"H-Huh? Wha..?" I looked up to see a boy with pure icy blue eyes. "Yeah..." I rubbed my head, staring at the ground.

"YOu sure?" I asked feeling her forehead. She would be ok. I think.

I felt a blush crawl onto my face. "E-Eep! Y-Yeah.."

I skipped outside chatting in my head with Tim

I pressed my lips and took my hand away. "Yeah you should be fine." I said moving to climb back up the tree.

"Why aren't you in class?" I questioned, looking up at him.

"I skip," I said sitting on the bottom branch trying to get higher. "Why aren't you in class?"

"Im new here."I said while gesturing to my mark.

I looked at her mark. I lost my footing on the branch and fell down. "Ow," I said sitting on the ground. Don't lose it. Don't lose it. Don't lose it!

I held my hand out to the boy. "Need help?" I asked, tilting my head.

I held out a warning sign. It's not her fault that he mark made me lose my balance! It's not! I closed my eyes tight.

"Oh.." I backed away. "Sorry.." I looked down. The voices in my head began to laugh at me.. I softly wrapped my arms around myself listening to there laughter.

I ground my teeth together. I hated it when the power was too much. Just for a small amount of time. A little bit. A second. But in that second she would be begging for death. I took a deep breath and let out a hiss. I unclenched my teeth and opened my eyes. "Sorry about that," I said.

"Its fine.." The voices were so cruel sometimes. I wondered if I did something wrong. The voices continued to make fun of me.

I got up rubbing my head. "I hate my powers," I muttered.

"And I hate my voices.. All though they do keep me company.." I shrugged and looked at the boy. "My names Melody, Melody Lullaby. What's yours?" I asked him, tilting my head.

"Kai," I said holding out my hand. "Nice to meet you Melody," I said. Total and complete lie. I hadn't felt that much need for release in months.

I nodded and stared at his hand. The voices told me not to shake it. I of course ignored them and shook his hand. "You too."

I shook it once then let go. "Anyways...." I said not sure what to do. I shrugged and started climbing again.

"Sorry if I-" I gasped and gripped my head as the voices screamed.

I fell down again hearing her gasp. "What?" I asked worried.

((I only have a few minutes))

"Th-There screaming!" I held my head in my hands as the voices continued to scream.
