Lamb of the Moon <3

i smiled and shoook my head and chuckled.

I was confused. She was drinking blood. I thought she hadnt changed yet. How could I have missed it?!

i brought back his coffee and then put it on the table. "Is there anything else i can get you sir?"

I looked around the yard until I heard a yelling coming from the house. My parents were freaking out because I wasn't in my room. I ran out farther into the night and farther into the yard. We had easily 20 acers and I could hide til morning. Then I'd have to come home. I left the glass on the ground and ran. I'd never ran this fast before but I didn't care.

She ran right past me and I quietly followed her. I needed to be there if she got into any trouble.

"Pancakes, bacon,scrambled eggs, and your company."

I looked at him. "Uh that was 2 pancakes, ba-bacon and eggs right" i somewhat stuttered. "Wo-would you like anything else to drink?" i asked as i wrote down his order. I was glad i was dark skinned, I was blushing.

"Srambled eggs." i reminded her.

I ran through the forest to one place I always loved to go. a tree had broken off and fell over the stream that went through our property. I walked out on the branch and sat down. My parents would go this far out to find me. I looked up at the moon and kicked my feet.

I laughed like a middle school girl. "RIght, sc-scrambled eggs.." i said. I walked away and then put the pad against my forehead a bit. "Idiot me." I said to myself as i put the order up for the cook.

i sipped my coffee.

As i waited for the guys order to finish cooking i sat at the counter. I looked at the guy, he was cute, no.. Sexy. I blushed to myself and sighed .

i set it down and looked around.

I watched her and sighed. I wished that I could sit next to her and hold her. Wait what was I thinking? Then I realized something....I was inlove with her.....I hit my head. How could I do this!? I was dead meat!

I brought the food over. "Here you go sir." Is there anything else i can get you?" i asked him.

"Yes for you to stop calling me sir. my name is Elliot."

I smiled. "Well, as a waitress, I must call you sir." I said as I grinned. I stopped myself. was i flirting with him? I looked around. No one else was in the diner. That was rare. I was okay with that. I sat back down at the counter. He didn't repeat the "your company request" so i figured he changed his mind.

"You didnt have to walk away." i called over to her.

I looked back at him. Then at the cook, who gae me the look saying 'you better get your a$$ over there.' Slowly i got up and walked over to up and pulled the seat out. "Um, Lolita. My name is Lolita..." i said as i sat down.

"I know. you said your name when you took my order." i half smiled.

I took in a deep breath. "Right. I forgot..." I said. the image >.> popped in my head. "So, ..." I didn't know what to say. I could be so awkward at times.

"Got any hobbies?" i asked and then took a bite of bacon

I laid down on my stumich and ran my fingertips in the water. The water started to crawl up my arm and jerked my hand out of the water and stood up. Water started to climb up the tree and around my feet. I ran off the branch and stayed on dry land. "What is going on..." I said more to myself then to the night around me.

I looked at him. "No. Not really." i was used to seducing costumers for tips, but i didn't do anything to him to make him do that. "I do like to paint." I said.

i swallowed. "painting counts as a hobbie. i myself like to draw."
