I smiled a little and nodded. I knew what he was like. One of my other customers walked in. I wasn't sure how he found me. Great....He walked over to me. I could smell alcohol on him. Great I was so going to get hurt. He picked me up and threw me across the room. I got back up while he was saying "You slut! I called you and you didn't answer. How dare you ignore me!" I wipped blood off of my lip "I told you before I'm not doing business with you anymore." I always ended up hurt when he came into the picture. He walked over and picked me up by my shirt and slamed me back against the wall. "You whore! You will not do this to me!" He slamed me against the wall again to try to raddle me.

I sighed and walked over to him. "I don't want white trash like you in my restaurant." I picked him up by his throat and squeezed. "If I ever see you again I will kill you without hesitation." I carried him to the door by his neck while he struggled to breathe. "Goodbye." I pulled a gun from behind and threw him to the curb, then tossed the gun in the trash as I walked back in. "Are you okay?" I asked Tara as I wiped the blood away with a rag.

I was trying to catch my breath. "I'm fine. I've had worse. He's done much worse to me. This was nothing. Thank you." I said kindly. "I am truely sorry...please forgive me..."

"Don't apologize. You didn't make him come here and didn't control what he did. Don't argue I won't hear it." I looked her over. "One cut, a few minor bruises, nothing major." I picked up a glass. "Cider?"

I smiled and winked at him "Of course." I sat back down at the table "So...where were we?" I giggled. This guy was crazy but definitly different.

"You were trying to feel me up," I laughed.

I glared at him but smiled "I definitly was not trying to do that. I was being good. For the most part...That is if you count the kiss on the neck being good or not." I sipped my cider.

"You kissed my neck and rubbed my thigh neither of which is good." I sipped at my cider.

I blushed a little and leaned back in my seat a tad. "If you say so. I personally would say they both are good as long as I don't cross the ovious line." I smiled. My phone rang and I sighed "One sec." It was work. I sighed and opened up my phone "Hello?"
"Tara...We have a bit of a problem...Someone messed up a recipe and we don't have the supplys to fix it...."
"Which one did you mess up?"
"The....Well the most popular."
"How can you mess that up? You guys have cooked it often enough that it should be second nature..."
He began to tell about the problem and what they did wrong. I told him how much to add and how much longer it would take extra. He thanked me and I hung up. "I'm sorry about that..." I blushed. I really hated those phone calls.

"It's okay. You care about the restaurant. Besides," I winked. "You're cute when you blush."

I smiled and was blushing worse "Thanks and yes I care a lot about this place. It truely is beautiful."

I shrugged. "Maybe we see beauty in different ways."

I looked at him questingly "What do you mean?"

(Questioningly)
I shrugged. "I've been kept indoors most of my life. I find beauty in the outdoors now, or in art."

I smiled "That's sweet. I know where we can go after this if you would like? It's outside but it is a ways out of the city."

I pulled her outside and threw her the keys. "Let's go."

I smiled and caught the keys "Alright." I got in the drivers seat and looked at him "You sure you want me to drive?" I laughed.

"It's only a Viper. I've got three more of these so I'm not worried." I said.

I rolled my eyes "Spoiled much." I smiled as I mumbled that. I started up the viper and drove off to where I was taking him. It was also the only place close to here that had the most beautiful view and only few were allowed to enter it. I smiled at the toll booth and he nodded at me "Go ahead Ms. Tara." He opened the booth and I didn't have to pay. Only few were allowed up here. I just hoped he hadn't been up here so I could surprize him. I stopped the car and got out. I sat on the hood and looked off into the night at the view.

I was surprised she was allowed here. Of course I could've come here, but bever actually had. It was beautiful. The city shimmered off the surface of the oceans. Millions of lit windows shone like stars. The mixture of light and dark gave the whole place a feeling of mystery and depth that went far beyon what the eye could see. "It's beautiful."

I smiled at him "I'm glad you like it. I come here every night before I come home from work. It's quiet and relaxes me." I looked down at my hand where I use to wear the ring...This was where he purposed...I smiled but I couldn't stop a tear from running down my face from the memory. I wiped it off hopefully before he noticed.

I saw the tear. "What happened here?"

I smiled and shook my head "Nothing to important." I smiled up at him.

"If it weren't important, you wouldn't be crying."

I looked away when he said that "I was purposed to here." I crossed my legs and looked around at the view.
