I hid behind my hair until I stopped blushing. That's why I always hid my face. Everyone always made fun of me because of how easily it was to make me blush. I let him lead me to where my classroom was. I was still new and I missed my bff. I got out my phone quickly and texted her Miss you. How has your day been? I hit send and slipped it back into my pocket. I was glad I was quick at texting.

"Ale no hinding please. I am sorry I laugh. Your just too cute. No I take that back. Your too d@mn sexy. Just to add to the sexyness your blushing in really brings out your eyes. I mean it." I smiled at her and tryed to moved her hair as she texted someone.

I looked up at him and smiled a little "Thanks but I'm not that great..." Y did he look as though he was a god of some kind. Something in me was telling me to be careful but I wasn't sure why...

'uh well that's um a funny stroy,' i said rubbing the back of my neck and looking away. 'i cant tell you until i trust you, and i'll trust you when you are my friend.' i tried to smile at her.

'if you carve me up you'll never know,' i pointed out. 'it's much easier just to accept who i am and get on with it. at least i'm trying to be your friend rather than hunt you down and kill you.'

I rolled my eyes. "You couldn't even if you wanted to."

I smiled at her. "Then you have been lieing to yourself my lovely Ale. Or your last boyfriend needs to be shot. Maybe not... he let you go and that gives me a shot at ya." I opened the door for her and I would take a sit next to her. I didn't care too much. I just wanted everyone to know I stack my claims on this fine piece of a.ss.

'dont be sure about that, over confidence could be your downfall.' i said. 'so you still havent given me an answer. friends or not?' i asked.

I didn't really know what to say to him. He was one step ahead of me. I stared at him.

'aww come on what have you got to lose?' i asked. 'i'm a nice guy.'

Something about him saying my name like that...I liked it. I looked up at him and smiled "The last boyfriend I had abused me. I still have the scars today." I moved my hair a little to show a scar on my neck. "But I also don't have to worry about him. He's dead now. Had a bit of an accident with his car and didn't walk away from it." I shrugged. I sat down in my normal seat and started to doodle a little bit until the bell rang.

"Its not what we have to loose, its what I have to loose." The bell rang. I had math now... great

'and what do you have to lose huh?' i asked following her.

"That's none of your business" I said walking a bit faster now.

'right, i know but i still want you as my friend.' i said keeping up with her easily.

"Trust me that a bad idea," I said with a grin. "You're safer not being my friend."

i laughed.
'how do you know that?' i asked.

"I just do." In all truth i was the one who was scared. Alexa was the only friend that never hurt me. She was the sandbox love that never dies and never hurts. I was scared that I would befriend him and get hurt, i was scared that if i started to like him that i would get hurt. I was more chicken sh!t then anyone that was in the entire world when it came to relationships of any kind.

'how about a trial run? i'll be your friend for a week and we go from there hmm?' i said. 'does that sound okay?'

I looked at him. "why do you want to be my friend so badly?!"

'i dunno,' i shrugged. 'i sense something in you that's all.' i smiled.

I looked at him. "you're not getting any from me" i glared.

'not in that way stupid,' i frowned. 'just something different from other students.'

"I am not stupid." I glared. "Ill think about it." i really needed to see Alexa.
