i think that when stevie rae dies and zoey keeps telling herself that if she wakes up, then, hopefully, stevie rae wont be dying.
and i thought that the song could be wake me up when september ends-green day. i know that S.R. didnt die in september, but it says that :

Well i think for Stevie Rae by herself after she becomes a red Vampire, her song would be Dancing with tears in my eyes by Ke$ha

i think the song, iridescent by linkin park fits zoey when shes in the otherworld.
