I starred at her open mouthed when she accused me of not trusting her. Then she slammed the door and reality set it. I went up to the door and knocked on it twice not expecting her to answer. "Cassie I do trust you. It's him I don't trust."

I sat on the counter and stared into the mirror at myself. My eyes were reddish and my skin was paler.

I sighed. She wasn't going to come out. I walked over to my dresser and got on some clothes. I did that while watching the bathroom. I sat down right next to the door.

I frowned and looked at the carpet beneth me. I blocked my thoughts for a second while I though of how to respond to that. I mean there was no way I could say, 'He only hurts me when you let him.' Or 'He doesn't hurt me at all.' The first because it wouldn't sound too good and the second because it was a lie. I sighed and said out loud, "Let me come with you then."

I sighed silently as I took that in. That was the best I was going to get. I slowly stood up and walked over to the sink. I splashed water on my face and dried it with a towel.
As I opened the door I looked down at Luke before crawling into his lap and kissing him.
Don't worry my darling. I kissed him deeper with passion. I knew he would pull away in a minute, but I just wanted to take advantage of the moment while it lasted.

I watched her come out of the bathroom and crawl into my lap. I kissed her slowly for a minute while wrapping my arms around her. Then I pulled back. "I'm sorry I upset you Cassie. You don't know how sorry."

I put my finger on his lips, trailing it down, feeling his mouth part a little. " Don't worry. " I whispered. I started to get up thinking about what I was going to wear.
