i sent it and went back to his office.

I smiled. "Welcome back." I pointed to my couch. "There's a seat there." I pointed to my lap. "Or there's on here."

i sat on his lip. "I prefer being cozy with you"

I held her waist. "Works for me." I turned my chair toward my computer to check my email.

i curled up on him and watched him work.

Most of my email was spam. But there was one from the boss about a big drug bust my friend and I had made. I read it. I was being promoted! I looked at Rose. "Did you read this?"

i read the email. "Same office or do you move to a bigger one?"

"Same office. But I may be out on duty more." I held her.

i frowned. "oh." i said softly

I kissed her. "But I'll still have time for you."

i kissed him back. "okay.."

"Do you want me to turn it down?" I asked her. I could tell she wasn't happy.

"No. you can take it..."

"Are you sure? I don't want to do anything that will upset you." I held her close. "I don't need to take the job. I'm happy here."

"yes...just promise you'll be safe...okay?"

"I promise." I kissed her. I replied to my boss saying I was interested in the promotion.

i kissed his neck as he was typing.

I smiled. "I'm working." I teased.

"but its 2 minutes till noon"

"Let me finish this email." I whispered in her ear.

i watch him write the email.

I sent the email. "Lunch time."

"Japenese?"

"Mmmmm." I kissed her. "Let's go."
