Dr. Love. [x]

i did my normal routine.

I had no clue why I was sleeping so much!

she was probably sleeping....i made sure the nurses had her take a sleeping pill so she would sleep without pain....

I was sleeping flat on my back with my hands folded on my stomach

i got dressed and drove to work.

I was dreaming of blackness, the usual.

i went to my locker in the locker room.

I woke up with a jerk and sighed

i went to check on her.

I sighed and stared up at the cieling as I heard someone come in

"Morning Katie. How'd you sleep?"

"Much better.. Thank doctor." I said.

"James" i told her. i checked the machines around her.

"Doctor." i corrected him

"Nope. just call me James"

"I think I like doctor." I said.

"When you say that it makes me feel 10 years older....and by the time im 34 i hope to be married and i have children."

I blinked and stared at the ceiling. "Love.. Whats it like?" I asked

"Their are two types of love. True love and Punky love. i have only ever found Punky love....at first its great...and then its bad when you find out shes sleeping with a fellow doctor who is 20 years older than me"

"Oh.. Ew." I said. "I've never felt it.. I've only seen it.. Like couples kissing around me or on TV." I said

i sighed. "Same here"

I sat up and winced a little. I looked outside and smiled a little.

i shook out her meds for this morning and got her a cup of water.

I sighed and took my medicine. I blinked

"Meds will kick in in 10 minutes. youll feel better then" i told her. "Ill be back at lunch. what would you like today?" i asked he
