I heard Nick, "I don't want to talk to you." I said while I was crying.

I slide down,"I'm sorry....but ....he was testing you...and me....."I explained as I silently cried.

"But Kala? That was so mean and really..." I couldn't finish my sentence it hurt so much.

"i she was apart of the acted i paid her,"I sobbed.

"Well you could have atleast told me. that there was an act."

"Ugh!"I jumped up,"Justin wins...like always"I said to her as I walked out and went to my locker.

"But I dont want him to win." I said quietly knowing he walked away. I came out of the stall and cleaned myself up. I tried to look for Nick.

I went to class.

I had first period with Nick so I walked in and walked up to him. "I have to tell you something."

I looked at her,"what?"i asked softly.

I whispered in his ear instead so no one would hear me. "I love you, Nick. I don't want Justin to win. You deserve to win."

i looked at her and a smile played on my lips, I sat down,'I love you and meet me after school'I sent her a note.

'Okay.' I gave the note back. It had a kissy face on it.

It was after school and I was waiting by my truck.

I said goodbye to Justin and waited til he left the parking lot, to heaed to Nicks truck

I waited some more.

I ran to his truck and hugged him

I hugged her back,"hey.'

I smiled up at him. "Hey."

"Okay look what happened earlier...I'm sorry...really."I said.

"I know, its fine." I said smiling at him. "So your place or mine?" I laughed

I chuckled,"mine."I kissed her.

"I'll race you there." I said and ran to my car.
