I was in a carriage with my father, his buisness partner, and his son. It's early England and I am a wealthly buisness mans daughter. I was wearing my favorite dress; it was a violet color with the layers of the dress yellow and gold. My father was deep in conversation when the horse came to a sudden stop. My father didnt fly forward but I most certainly did. I landed right in my fathers buisness partners son, William's lap. He smile down at me while I blushed, "Pardon me good sir"

"I am truely sorry for landing in your lap"

"It is quite alright, my lady," he bent down and whispered in my ear, "We'll have plenty of time tonight to get to know each other"


I blush and sit up brushing a few strands of my blond hair out of my face. My name is Kathline, I am 16 which is legal marrige age, and I have men chasing me everywhere. I sit back in my seat next to my father who was talking to the driver. My father has brown hair, a slight beard, and sharp green eyes.

Unlike William's deep blue eyes that went with his black hair. His father looked the same as William but was somewhat scarier. My father's voice snapped me out of my dream world. He was asking if I was okay to share the carriage alone with William. William answered for me and my father and his father left us in the carriage.

As soon as we started going again William came over to sit by me and pushed me down so I was laying on my back and he was on top of me kissing me. I kiss him back but we knew that's all we could do in this carriage. He finally lifts up to breathe but before anything could happen his lips were back on mine. I remembered when he first kissed me; My father and his were sitting in the library talking buisness and I went to go look around William's fathers home. William was coming down the stairs in a suit and he stopped when he saw me standing looking out the window,

"Excuse me madame" he said in a voice that sounded like silk. I turned around and he was standing infront of me looking at my hands, "Are you not yet married?" he asked and while I shook my head he smiled, "What is your name lovely lady? And what is your buisness here?"

I look into his deep blue eyes, "My name is Kathline Michaels and I am here on a buisness trip with my father." He smiled bigger and put his hands on the wall one on each side of my head,

"How lovely you are." He then kissed me. After that night there were many stolen kisses; if we couldnt see each other during the day we secretly met at night.

Finally we convinced my father and his to go on a far away buisness tip. The night they said yes William's maid saw us kissing and told his father about it. Of course, he was furious but he couldnt do anything about it, he thought we were in love instead of just kissing but we never actually told each other that we loved each other. William had stopped kissing me no and put his forehead to mine. He whispered sweet nothings to me and it was times like these I wondered if I did love him.
