I walked into the house of night and wiped off the makeup on my forehead, my mark became exposed. I looked down the empty halls when i saw my friends walk around the corner

"Hey guiys"

I walked into my new residence: The Maine House of Night. So this is the place my rentals shipped me off too. Even though we lived in Seattle. Hmm...I'm surprised they didn't send me out of the country, but I guess even me getting away from them isn't worth that much money.

I walked down the halls with my hood up silently. I bopped my head to the music.


I followed my sister down the hall.

I yawned and sat on a couch in an office type room. Papers where scattered everywhere. It was kinda funny. It reminded me of my room. Well, my old room.

I tripped and fell.

I laughed at my sister

"That hurt.." I muttered. I began to pick up my things as my brother laughed.

I heard a big THUMP outside. I ran out of the room. A girl was on the ground. And a boy was laughing at her. "Are ya alright?"

"I'm fine." I sighed. I cringed and noticed my scrapped hand. "Oh well.." I blinked and looked at the boy and blushed. "I-I'm fine! Thanks.." I muttered.
