"Thank you." I said to him and slid into the taxi.

*I got in and closed the door* New York please *I said to the driver*

Yes sir *He said back*

I leaned on him and layed my head on his shoulder.

*I wrapped my arms round her, holding her close*

I looked up at him and smiled

*I smiled back*

I started to doze on his shoulder.

I leaned on his shoulder and fell asleep. Dreaming about how things were before. Another nightmare. I saw everyone dying and there was nothing I could do. Someone grabbed me from behind and I felt this horrible pain in my neck then everything changed.

I woke up shaking

Whats wrong?

"I don't like the nightmares." I told him.

I don't either. What happened?

"It was the day I changed and it haunts me all the time."

Don't worry. I'm here

I wanted to cry, but I didn't want to do it infront of him.

*I held her close*

I was still shaking. Even after all these years, that memory still haunts me

I was so glad he was here. When I usually get this scarred I get reckless.
