"Who?" I looked at her with pleading eyes

I blinked. "He wrote it!" I squealed running off.

I sighed. "What did I do? Woohoo, I wrote a poem not a surprise for the son of Apollo." I said.

"Your a son of Apollo?" I grinned. "There's another new girl! She's the daughter of Apollo. I met her earlier."

I opened my cell phone and looked through my messages. I picked the message Troy had sent me last week, when I first escaped. It was one of the nicer ones. It read, Once I find you, your never leaving this house again! You will fxcking pay for this. I sighed threw my phone at him, turning around and sitting back on my rock.

I looked at the text message in disbelief. "Why did he send you this?"

"Because I left," I said.

"He should get over the fact that you left him."

I shook my head. I had a cami under this shirt so I pulled off the top one. "He won't," I said softly. I had old and new bruises, along with scars. And these were only my arms.

I lightly grabbed her wrist "He did this?"

I looked down. I was with him for 3 years. The first year wasn't like this. The second year however, was when everything changed. He raped, abused, everything you could possibly do.

"How?"

I looked up, "Any way he can?"

"Your safe here. I won't let anything happen to you."

I pulled my knees up to my chest, "I won't be safe for long," I whispered. I was on the verge of crying, but again, it was weakness. And when I showed any type of weakness or took anything from anybody, even a compliment, Troy would make me pay. So I soon learned not to.

"I wont let him get up." I was so angry at this guy.

I looked at him, "Why do you care?" I asked. No one's ever really cared about what happened to me. I was kicked out of the house at 14. I had become "too much to handle" so they decided they didn't have to handle me anymore. Troy took me in and I guess I fell for him within that first year. Then he took me and my love forgranted.

"Because you are different. A good different."

"You just met me," I murmured.

"I know that is the weird part."

I sighed and put my head on my knees.

I walked over to her. And put my hand on her back.

I felt someone touch me and jumped. Ugh! I keep jumping I feel like I'm the most paranoid person out there!

I pulled my hand back "Sorry."

I shook my head, "It's a habit," I said.

I took her hand and smiled at her

"What type of ice cream?"i asked her.
