OMG! What should I do, my family is dead and I'm all alone now, with no where to live and no food to eat anymore either. How will I survive? This isn't what you should do when you're 10 years old.

I looked around and saw a little girl huddled in a fallen down building I rushed over

"Come with me" I whispered and glanced around

I kept on running down the street.

A older guy came running to me and told me to come with him and I followed him, I really didn't want to be alone right now.

I sighed and kept on running. Becka? Devin? Where are you?

I rna into the store that wasnt surrounded my adults and grabbhed a cartm, I filled it full of food and went outside, when I got with 200 feet of the walmart i looked at the girl

"Get in the cart"

I looked out of the door to see Owen coming

Where is it?! I thought. Tears of frustration started rolling down my cheeks. I ran into a back alley that had three Grown-Ups. "Oh no.." I muttered and looked around for a weapon. There was nothing to use but a plastic trash can! I panicked and picked it up throwing it at them. It did no damage. I turned and started to run

I turned a corner sharply, my gun in my hand. The next thing I know I collide with a figure. A girl figure? Amber? I thought. I helped her up "Amber. What are you doing here?" I asked

((ALLAN)) i slid around the corner behind her, my pistol sounding noisely. A grown up fell, withering on the ground. "No time for that. Get back to the base!" I snapped, starting to run. I stopped, looking over my shoulder. "Can you keep up?" i asked.

I looekd and saw a makeshift blockade that would work as a ramp" I flicked my shoes adn the skates came out, I ran and slid over the ramp an up onto the roof, I look down through the big skylight

"HEy put abunch of blankets and stuff under the skylight"

I sighed. And looked at the neakless that mom and dad gave us both. I looked at my worried sister. more like frighted still sister. "Mia it s ok we are going to be safe here trust me."

I nodded still it wasnt convinsing.

I put the blankets and all the other stuff under the skylight and waited for another order.

I sighed"Just relax and Owen never go out like that again do I make myself clear"

"Devin! Oh you know...walking around. checking out the area...okay I am looking for Becka too" I said and bit my lip.

I jumped down and landed with a sof thud, I helped the girl out of the cart and smiled

"I got food"

I couldn't help but smile "You need to be more careful. You could have been hurt." I said to her, letting go of her hand.

I glanced around and saw a few people

"WHO WANTS FOOD?" I yelled

"I do but never go out without me or one of the other leaders again"I glared at him

"Right, Im smart enough to fend for myself"

"fine"I walked away

I smiled adn pulled out a box of cereal then opened it and started eating it

I was so scared. Who are these people??
