"Good, because we have to get up to the temple, there having a funeral pire today"

"Okay" it got colder outside so i used fire to heat me up.

I pulled myself out of the water

"THink you could use a little bit of that fire to dry me off?"

"ya sure" i saw the fire leave me to go to him. i hope it wasnt to hot like the time i burned the tree trying to get the ice off of it.

I felt my lcothes dry out

"THank you" I shifted into a bird

"Want a lift up to the temple"

I loved when he changed it was amazing to me "your welcome and sure why not" i said climbing on.

I rustled my feathers and took off through the air

While we were in the air my long black hair flew around me. I felt so free.

(Bye) I flew down as the priestess lit the fire, engulfing the fencing teachers body iun flames

(back on) I looked down i was horrifed by what i saw.

I listened as the priestess started

"Dale Mitchell, was a trusted member of the staff here at the house of night, he is now to be commiuted to the flames fo Nyx, and may his soul rest easy in the otherwold"

I watched soundlessly. it was always hard to breath at these things.

The fire burned to ash and people started leavuiig

I sighefd adn looke dinto the ashes, I saw the glint of metal adn I racghed in, I pulled out a small silver medallopn

I watched people start to leave. I saw owen holding something in his hands. i walked up to him "What did you find" i asked him.

I held out the tarnished silver to her

I took the silver out of his hand. " what is it" i asked

"Some kind of medallion, I found it in the fire"

"Do you think it means something. cause umm i think its rude to look through a dead persons ashes" i said laughing.

"Well, it is, bt I think I was supposed to find this, I mean, usually something like this would melt in a fire"

He looked serious so i said " Okay well what kind of silver dosnt melt in a fire??"

"USually silver would melt unless its laced with some othe rmetal, but this looks" I touched it to my tounge

"ANd tastes like pure silver"
