Bio: Lacey was born on October 31st (spooky right?) and in a small town in Massachusetts. At the age of 5, she picked up a violin and started playing it in the middle of a music store. They owner was very suprised at her attachment to the violin and her father bought it for her. She didn't even need lessons because she taught herself. At the age of 6 she took on piano and then guitar. After many years of lessons she started the drums at the age of 10. Her parents believed that she could be a prodigy. At 12 she met a boy named Steven who she became good friends with and he became her best friend at 13. Finally at 14 she was marked when in a park. Steve who chose the same High School, was marked a year after her.

I grabbed my guitar and ran fromm my dorm. I needed to practice now.

"Oh hi yeah I'm just late for practice"

Lacey walks into her dorm and sits at her piano. She starts practicing many pieces when her phone rings.
She answers, wondering who it might be. It turns out to be her mother.

"Hello Mom." Lacey says and crosses her fingers that it won't be any bad news about her grandmother who is in the hospital with breast cancer.

"Hello Sweetie. I just wanted to say that your grandmother is doing fine and the doctors say that she will be alright also. She should just have a few kemo treatments."

Lacey smiled even thought she knew that her mom couldn't see her smile but she hoped that her grandmother somehow saw the smile. "That's wonderful! So she's pretty much a surviver right?"

"Yes and I'm sure she would love a visit from you."


Lacey sighed.
"I'll see what I can do...Maybe I can fly down next week. I just have alot of school work-"

Her mother cut her off. "It's alright if you can't make it this month. Well, I have to go but do good in school and I love you."

"I love you too mom. Bye."

Lacey hung up and sighed. Her grandmother had been sick for along time which is why they thought she might not make it. Between that time, Lacey had only visited her once which is why she wanted to visit her as soon as possible.

She grabbed her violin and walked down the hall to get to the music room.
