I walked around the city, Once again out on the hunt. It was strange to find so many people still out on the streets at 1 in the morning, especially after the reports of recent murders that had been reported throught out the media. Still it was the person responsible I was hunting, his murders where making it difficult for me to get a good meal these days. Sighing I made my way towards his most recent crime scene hoping to pick up his scent.

Walking through the park I saw two people, I guy and a girl, They didn't look that old. I wondered if they would be this killers next target. Keeping out of sight I continued on my way, they didn't look like anything special in my mind.

As i walked through the streets i kept alert. Keeping my ears hidin by my hair so i could have the ears of the hawk. It was the only way to keep safe. So much was going on. So many killings.

I sighed and walked around still thirsty I was so new I looked around and saw two kids in the park I saw the boy first and walked up to him"Hi I am lost can you show me around"I licked my lips

I walked down the street, ticking people off with my mind. Human, human, human, vampire, human, shapeshifter, vampire, vampire...

I walked down the street with my hands in my pockets. I saw a girl who was looking at everyone walked past and counting them with her hands. She was a human, that I knew for sure. Weird little girl...

I finally made it to the crime scene, it didn't look like much but it was cralling with CSI, any chance at finding a trace was gone, sighing I started heading back home, he had escaped yet again.

I was at coffee shop. Getting what i usally drinked an iced coffee.

I continued walking the streets. I passed an area where many CSI swarmed. I hid behind a tree and changed into a bird and flew over the scene to see what was going on. A murder. Going back towards the tree i changed again and listened. In my human form i walked. And saw someone strange walking the same way i was.

I linked arms with him and started walking"I can't thank you enough"I licked my lips having this mortal so close was making me thirsty to the point were I just wanted to feed from him now my eyes were also starting to grow crimson red

i reached the edge of the forest and took a tentative step outside. this was a new experience and i wasnt going to back down from the challenge.
