I smiled even wider, "It's the same for me, I've always liked being on my own, just getting on with life in the most quiet of ways. I liked watching the world pass me by, but with you I feel different, and I know it sounds stupid but it's true."

"Interesting the way fate works sometimes..." Jordan smiled at Natalia.

When he smiled I felt my heart speed up.
I smiled back, completely engrossed in him, nothing in the outside world held any interest for me at this moment in my life.

I smiled, he was sweet.
"That's fine, to be honest I'd probably get nervous and mess up the piece anyway" I grinned.
I leaned back against the wall and looked up to the sky, my little flame still flickering away.

I smiled as he conjured up the piano.
He was a beautiful sort of boy, he wasn't ruggedly handsome or particularly masculin, but he was beautiful.
He had soft, delicate features and such a kind soul.
A smiled and walked over to the shadow, god this was weird, playing a shadow?! how did that even work?
It didn't matter though, because once my fingers touched upon the 'keys' I could feel the music inside of me, the absence of noise not a problem.
I played a piece I had wrote, hat seemed like such a long time ago.
It was my favourite.
Embarrasingly my body moved to the absent music while I was playing, like it always did.
I smiled as it came to an end.

I grinned and blushed.
"Yes, I wrote it"
Then I thumped him playfully with the back of my hand on his chest, "And you could have told me you could hear" I bit my bottom lip before smiling at him.

"I figured I'd wait till after you played so you wouldn't be as nervous. You have some serious talent. "

I blushed, "Well, thankyou" I said, I never liked to take compliments, I always felt awkward, I never felt I desrved them and then I felt like I had to give one in return.
So I just sort of blushed and stood next to him, leaning back against the wall.
I tilted my head and rested it on his shoulder, "You're really sweet" I said, looking out to the horizon.

"To be honest I've never thought of doing anything professionally.
I don't tend to plan ahead.
I have no idea what I'm going to do when I get out of here.
I mean I know that I'd like to be involved with something musical or designy and then you've got the other end of the spectrum completely, I'd also like to do something in either quantum mechanics or partical physics.
And that's as far as I've got.
Well I mean I'd like to do some of that stuff if I even survive."
My voice fell cold at that, going about daily life, I tended to forget that I could die at any moment.

Jordan got quiet with what Natalia said. He's one to think positively even though he's always living in the shadows. "If we both survive, I'd love to help you out with some of those dreams. Who knows, maybe some of the poetry I write could be used as lyrics to some of the music you've composed."

I smiled, turning to look at him.
"I'd like that"

"Remind me to later so show you some of my written work. I also have written a few scripts for acting..." Jordan blushed a little.

"See, that sound alot like an invite back to your room" I grinned.

Jordan blushed even more. "If you'd like. I don't have a roommate so it'd be just us since classes are in session." Jordan planned on keeping things friendly but professional between them just to be on the safe side.

"So long as you've got some good music we can dance to." I smiled.
"I liked dancing with you."

My hand moved to my mouth for a moment, I was in complete shock, then I stepped closer to Jordan and wrapped my arms around him. "I'm so sorry" I said, loosing someone like that, someone he was so close to. It must have been terrible.

"James was the one that loved the rock music...I played his favorite songs for 3 weeks straight while I was mourning." Jordan smiled at the memory and the fact that Natalia was hugging him again.

"What was it?" I asked, looking up at him. I aslways seemed to be looking up at people, why did I have to be so short?!
"His favourite song?"

Jordan laughed. "He had a few. He even made a CD fro when/if he didn't make it to play for his funeral...he was a risk taker. everything wsa a game to him...including what we're going through with this change. The song I played hte most was When I'm Gone by 3 Doors Down."

I smiled, "He sounds like a right laugh"
I started huming the tune, knowing the song like the back of my hand.
