Love after Changes

"I don't know... I like it... But i don't know why you gave it to me."

"who said I gave it willingly you were the one tourchering me"

I smiled "Yeah love but you were the one begging for it."

I returned to the hotel room, fully sated, and sat down on the chair, turning to face the TV.

"That was fast." I said to John.

I looked over at Mercedes and shrugged, "how long did you expect?" I asked.

"A few hours..." I giggled and patted the spot on the bed next to me. "Why don't you sit over here? You don't have to be so distant." I said.

I shrugged again and took the offered place, "it doesn't take that long, even when hunting the prey." I said.

I smiled, "This may soud odd, but... Do you have a favorite race that you feed on? I'm just curious." I said.

"interesting question from a human, I feed on predators." I answered.

"Predators?" I asked.

"Animals." I clarified.

"So was my blood like bliss for you?" I asked.

I looked away from him"I know I am different I don't belong with humans or vampires"

I turned her head tso that she was looking at me. "Your do belong as a vampire. You belong here."

"how can I explain it, your blood was different, it........ I guess the best way to describe it is like choclate coated ice cream." I said unsure if my description was worth anything.

I laughed. "So it was really yummy." I looked at him. I wasn't afraid of him, he was different.

I smiled and nodded.

"Do you sleep?" I asked rolling over onto my stomach to face him.

"rarely, but yes." I answered, suspicously.

I saw him tense, "Hey I didn't mean anything by that..." I said.

I smiled"at least you think so"

"I know so." I said

I smiled"thanks"

I kissed her forehead, "Your welcome."
