The Host

I actually didn't read it all the way through until the second time I picked it up. The first time, I just didn't get into it. But the second time, which was a few years after that, I got into it right away. I don't know what caused that, but I'm glad it did. Because Host is an amazing book.

Now, if only the same could be said for Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles.

the host is a bit confusing at first, and it does drag a teeny bit, but overall, it was an awesome book! i'm curious to see the movie. hopefully it won't be a slaughter one or anything. they can really screw sometimes.

i'd totally recommend reading it. it was well done.
