New in Town (started/closed)

I showed up at school and trudged my way in the door. Yet another day of boredom.

i kept reading my book as i dug through my bag looking for my bottle of water.

I walked to my locker, I forgot the combination.

Bored with my book i closed it and made my way to my locker

i tried mine again

I opened my locker with ease and exchanged my book for my English one

I looked around trying to find Emily.

I closed my locker and made my way to my first hour class. Maybe I'd bump into Jackie, Troy, or Johnny.

I walked into first period. "There you are." I said to Emily.

I looked up from my doodles to see him. I smiled at him and greeteds him with a "Good morning"

I smiled "Morning." I said and sat down next to her.

"So how was the pizza yesterday? Did you still go?"

"No." I said A said making a face. "My mom called and said I had to come home ASAP."

"Oh.. Well if you're still craving it and up for a pizza run, maybe we could go for dinner?" i said with a sly smile

"That sounds like a perfect idea." I smiled at her.

I smiled at him and went back down at my doodles

"Watch drawing?" I asked looking over.

I coverd my doodles and began to giggle. "Nothing too important, you'll probably find it boring... or silly."

I smile d"Let me see."

I moved over and revealed the intricdate design i'd been working on... "It's still a working progress... It's an engine i've been working on."

I looked at it. "Have you started to build it?"

"No, not yet... It's not ready... Would you like to help?"

"Yeah that would be great."

i smiled at him. As i opened my mouth to talk a crowd of kids emerged themselves into the class as the bell rang loudly

I glanced at him before looking at the sky too.
