| (looks like I am taking Earth aswell.) i entered the circle from the North, holding the green candle.
Stable below us.
Strong around us.
Earth is powerful.
But it is also life.
Mother Earth, Gaia.
Protecting her children for all of time.
I walked to earth and lit the green candle
I closed my eyes once the candle was lit, smelling the hay and feeling the grass and earth under my feet. | |

| I thank you for attending once again. During this month the winter cold fastens its grip, and nights are at their longest and darkest. It is also sometimes called the Moon before Yule. The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. The midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun.
This month should be filled with cheer, but sometimes it isn't. Some people die, others are very sick, which is the reason Angel could not be here tonight. I ask Nyx to bless her and her family. We should remember to thank the Goddess for the things we have in life, and those we love. Tonight is even more powerful because not only is it the Full Moon, but it's on a night of the Winter Solstice, A powerful night for those who are water.
