"Thanks for the food." I smiled

"ok good we should finish up and go back to explain before someone else does."i said.

"hey Faith"i asked.

I nodded and quickly finished my food. "Okay."

i finished my food. "okay lets go" i said.

"Yea?" I asked

"have you noticed anything different about you" i asked trying not to look at her wrists.

"Um yea kinda. Why?" i asked

"have you looked at your wrists"i asked. i wonder if she really hasnt.

I walked back slowly, repeating the lie in my head over and over again.

i payed for the food because Camille forgot to. catching up to her. "forgot to pay" i said laughing.

I looked at them. "What the f*ck is that." My mouth dropped

"Oh Umm... I'm sorry. Here." I said reaching in my wallet and pulling out a fifty handing it to her.

"i hadnt noticed either till a it hit me at the fast food." i said looking at her.

"nah" i said not taking the money.

"Take it." I said motioning to it

"Well what is it?" I asked looking at my wrist

"nah dont need it" i said not taking it.

realising."a connection" i wispered looing at my wrist the same thing was there.

"But i said i was paying. Take it." I said

"and you pay me later when i need the money" i said.

I stood up and looked at his wrist. "What the heck." I siad looking at his marks

"i have herd of this only once" i said. "when a connection is strong marks may show up showing the twos affinitys combined." i said looking at her.

I nodded "Okay." I said and put it back in my wallet.

we got back to the house of night.

"I can't do this." I said

"So a flaming arrow. That explains what happened at the river." i wispered

"whats wrong"i asked.

"that also explains why i've gotten better at archery." i wispered.
