I laughed softly and stroked her hair.

I stirred and opened my eyes"what is it"I mumbled still sleepy

"Nothing," I whispered. "Go back to sleep."

I nodded"ok"I closed my eyes and fell asleep

I smiled and stroked her hair again.

*sleeping*

I layed my head atop of hers.

I started to dream about a large fire and I curled up in fear

I wrapped my arms around her again and held her close as I felt her fear.

I passed my dream onto him and cringed as I felt the fire

I watched the scene play out of people burning her to her death. I shook her awake and when she looked at me I said a strong, "No. I swear to you I won't ever let that happen."

I looked at him"I am scared Felix"

I pulled her to my chest and whispered, "I know, but as long as I'm alive I will teach you how to protect yourself so you won't have to live in fear anymore."

I nodded"I know"I said crying into his chest

I layed my head on hers and held her to me as she cried.

"I don't know... You're getting stronger."

"Both." I said simply.
