Caught in a War {X}

I cocked my head to the side. Like what?

"like some of the puppies wont survive being born. and some of the other men will try to hurt them" i said.

I whimpered in sadness. "What? Why?"

"because they want you" i said.

I growled they "can try to hurt my puppies."

"i was told i couldnt kill anyone who tried all i could do was teach them a lesson" i said.

I layed down and rested my head on my paws.

"but everything will be okay. we wont have to really worry about that for 3 weeks right" i said.

I nodded and rolled only my side. "I know they aren't that far aalong but they move alot."

"well you dad said that being in wolf form speeds up the process it would take" i said.

"Oh." I said "We need to talk to the medicine man." I said

"okay now or later" i asked.

"Later I don't feel that good."

"something wrong" i asked sitting beside her.

I put my head on his lap, :I feel sick."

"like sick you got something or sick because your having puppies" i ask.

"Sick because i got something." I said

"then we should go see him now" i said.

I nodded and got up to fast my stomach lurched. I got dizzy and fell back down.

"i'll go get him" i said. running off to find him.

I layed there in bed and waited. I was scared this wasn't going to be good

i brought him back.

I layed there and looked up. "I don't feel good."

He walked over to me and put his hand on my stomach putting preasure and moving it around. "I don't know how but there are eight heartbeats."

I looked up at him "Thats inpossible."

how that would mean atleast 7 puppies. i thought to myself.

"This is so weird." He said, "You are confined to bed rest. We have never had a wolf have a litter of seven." He told her.
