I froze and pulled my hand away. His question had caught me off guard. No it had done more then that. It shocked me to the core. Did I want immortality? Did i want to live forever? "I don't know," I said honestly. "I never thought of that... Obviously." I smiled at Marcus. Her hand still tingled from his kiss. "I guess I would. But I'm not sure what I would have to do. Maybe I'd be a wolf instead." I was teasing him so I play punched his arm softly.

She joked and kidded about the turning, it did'nt please him in the slightest when she mentioned wanting to be a wolf. "Then Arthur would kill me and you. Wolves and vampires can't coexist in the same habitat without getting at each others throats. I'm surprised we both have a lot of resistance to our nature. Even if he turned you, I would'nt have to worry as much about you dying on me." He whispered as he leaned back, he felt exhausted from the run. Not eating full amounts to quench his hunger for flesh and blood.

Slowly he got up from the table. "I feel like I should go lay down for awhile. Lets go home before Arthur wets himself with worry that you left the house."

Marcus shook his head. "No need for money." He pointed at the waitress who serviced him. She came over, bright smiling and cheery when he leaned in. His face looked smooth and handsome, she only got to open her mouth before he began whispering softly over her shoulder. Whatever he said made her eyes melt and her smile brightened. She had that look of desire for him in her eyes. He pulled back, taking her hand he kissed it gently. Letting it fall. "Ciao Baby." He spoke in a thick pure Italian voice.

He then waltzed out the restaurant and then made a turn into the nearby alleyway, motioning for Ally to join him. "I want to show you something."

Marcus laughed as he walked far enough down the alleyway to avoid being noticed. "Bene, vedete che io ho molte nuove competenze come un adulto. Che le donne avevano sangue italiano. Così ho parlato con lei nella sua lingua." His voice oozed sensuality and passion as he spoke to her. Drawing closer with the same heated eyes he gave the girl while speaking. Even if she didn't know the words entirely. It sounded dirty, rather he spoke in English. "Somehow I can change my words to whatever language I want now. Might be a predator thing. Arthur has it as well I assume. But I want to show you, that your choice is more important then you may think." He suddenly changed. The transformation was immediately without warning. His height doubled, a towering beast. He removed the white dress shirt. His upper body was a mound of fur, soft and lush black with thine gray streaks in some areas.

He approached her, opening his arms wide as if asking for a hug. Asking her to see what a wolfs body was like.

I gasped and fell back at the sudden... fur that he had grown. "Good god! Don't scare me like that! I almost had a heart attack!" I sighed and stood up again. "Although i will admit you are very beautiful this way." I reached out and started petting him. I couldn't help but laugh softly. "You're way softer then a puppy," I said absent mindedly (sp). I reached out and said with more purpose, "You're still Marcus even if you are a giant over grown dog. And honestly I don't care about if I'm immortal or not. I don't even know if I want to be that way."

Marcus slowly brought his arms around her, pulling her closer. Embracing her, he was warm and soft. like a massive fur bed that draws you in when laying down. His soft jaw laid a top her shoulder as he breathed. His heart beating loudly against her chest as his throaty dog like voice sounded softly. "This is what a Werewolf's body feels like. Alive, a beating hurt. At the cost of eating flesh and blood." He pulled away and immediately he was human again, his fur gone, his body a mass of rigid sculpted muscles. He grabbed his shirt and slid it back on.

"Arthur is cold, heart had stopped beating when he was turned. He is dead while I'm living flesh. These are your two options. Your last being human. Live long enough, and you'll die of old age. While both me and Arthur live forever. This, is the harsh truth."

I frowned... He was right. "I... Don't know Marcus. I've never even dreamed of this kind of stuff. I always imagined me and Arthur sitting on a porch watching the sun set while we're both old and grey. Not young forever. Even if I was a werewolf I don't know I could." I looked away. "I don't even know how I would die if what you and Arthur say is true."

"Even if there was a chance of you dieing. It scares me to think of such a thing." He whispered as he walked out the alleyway. He never wanted her to get hurt, if she did. He would not know what to do. Would he bite her now to save the trouble of her deciding. To face Arthur's anger and rage?

He was unsure to say the least. But he had to throw away such thoughts. He motioned for her to come along. "Lets go home, I bet he's worrying about you more then me."

His body was hot to the touch, his waist felt perfect in curve,form and firmness. He was a perfect model of the human body, muscular, but not beefy. Tall yet not a giant,less he transforms into the wolf.

As they walked, his worse fears came true. The drug dealers that he took care of earlier with Arthurs help had some friends. Some friends with high caliber weapons who performed a strong executed drive by shooting. Luckily Marcus was fast enough to spin Ally to cover her from the shower of bullets that riddled his body, he had to change slightly to stop the bullet from shredding through his body and hitting her. Blood spilled past his lips as he hugged her close. Silence fell, Marcus was unmoving.

Marcus leaned against the solid cold building. Everything was going cold. He felt heat leave him. Was he bleeding? Shock had escaped him, pain was slowly numbed by the cold. He felt weak, he felt as though he would drop at any second. "Call....Arthur..." He groaned as he lifted himself off the wall. A screech of tires came to a stop.

He heard yelling as the clatter of guns was being moved. He turned and saw the drug gangsters had gotten out of their car and was approaching fast. No time...


He changed into the massive beast immediately and launched himself at the gangsters as they opened fire onto him. Making sure they didn't fire at ally, she was far away from the fire to be safe. That was all that mattered to him as he tore each and every gangster apart. After the bloodshed, he turned back into a human, crashing to the ground in a bloody mess.

"Marcus!" I shouted. I dumped all my stuff out of my purse and called Arthur. He picked up on the first ring.
"Have you found marcus yet I can't-"
"Marcus here... Need help. Drug pushers... the same ones as befo-" Something covered my face and dragged me backwards. No! I screamed out behind the cloth but I could barely breathing. Chlorophyl again? I... Marcus... help me....

"Ally!" Arthur shouted into the phone. He was running as fast as he could to the place that she was. Just one problem. He had no idea where.

All she could hear was yelling, hitting the floor. Sidewalk. Hard, not so hard as to knock her out. The Chloroform left her dazed but it wasn't enough to put her under. The world around her was blurred. She could only see figures, being torn apart by one much larger figure. Then everything went dark.

Marcus slowly picked her up after killing more then he should have. Covered in bullet holes and blood. He took Ally and placed her in the backseat of her car. She had a rough bump on the head and had been drugged to sleep, the guy he torn apart had splashed a bit of blood on her yet she had no wounds of her own. It at least made his job more easy as he reached into the front seat and grabbed her radio. "Calling all Police on duty. I have an injured officer down, multiple armed suspects have been shot and are deceased. Need Ambulance on Maulberry St." He dropped the Radio and pulled out of the car to lean against it while placing a cigarette to his mouth, lighter and puffed away as he began picking shrapnel of bullets from his body, each one hurting more as he continued.

I was still awake yet I could see nothing. It hurt to look. But I tried to anyways. I could hear sirens in the distance. My ears were ringing behind the sounds and I cried. My head hurt really bad and I knew something was wrong. I tried to tell Marcus to call Arthur but could only get out his name.

Marcus laughed softly as he heard the sirens coming. He walked over to Ally and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. "You'll be safe now." He was hoping Arthur heard the sirens. As the young, blood stained man stepped away from the car, the police were first onto the scene. They jumped out the cars and immediately started yelling at Marcus, but in a split second,he was gone.

They couldn't see him leap to the nearby rooftop. They were frantic, but soon found the bodies, and Ally somewhat unconscious in her car. They immediately called Arthur and a few more ambulances. Marcus sat on the roof, watching, silently waiting for his wounds to heal.

When I was put into the ambulance I did nothing and just waited for my sight to come back. I could see lights now.

When Arthur heard the sirens he came running onto the scene. He pulled out his badge and ordered for the men to be taken to the morgue. he saw Marcus on a roof and smiled at the boy. He nodded his thanks. That was the second time in one day that he had saved Ally's life.

Once Marcus saw Arthur, he nodded and was gone. He headed home, wanting sleep. He fell into his bed, not caring about his bloody clothing or wounds anymore.

Marcus awoke, but not to pleasantries. But to the smell of smoke. Fire, oh fire. FIRE! He shot upo when he felt heat rush him. THE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE! "WHAT THE @!#$!!!" He roared as a small explosion was felt from the kitchen as the oven exploded. He turned on the bed and leaped out the window, shattering through the glass and ended up cutting himself as the house was burning to the ground. A black Truck drove off. Arthur cursed as he stepped away from the house. "NOW I'M JUST PISSED!"

About an hour later I was told that I could leave the hospital. But I still had to see the police to give a report on what had happened. Arthur decided to call Marcus.

Arthur called the home phone first but got nothing. So he called Marcus's personal phone.

Marcus heard his cell ring from his room which was probably on fire in the house. "FFFFFFFFFFF@@@@@@@%$&$@%^$!#%@&$!@&$#!!!!!!!!" He exclaimed as he ran and leaped back through the window he broken,rolled and stuck his landed on the floor. 10 Points! He chuckled as everything aflame cried and creaked around him. He walked over to his bedside table rather casually and flipped open the cell. "Yo, this is your friendly neighborhood werewolf speaking?"
