| I went home and clicked on the TV, then dropped the remote. I grabbed my phone, texting Dillon to get to the hospital, his dad was in trouble. My pager went off, reading, 'Police station shoot out, thirty injured,' i grabbed back up my coat, turned off the TV and ran back. Press and security almost didn't let me in to the ER, it was filled with cops.
I asked around for his dad, finding out he was in surgery, gun shot to the chest. Embolism possible. | |
