the hunted.[X]

i looked around as we walked.

I stayed close to him, keeping my guard up.

it was alittle to quiet outside.

I clenched and unclenched my jaw when i heard something moving.

i looked around.

I stopped when the moving was getting closer.

i stopped beside her.

Three men stepped out from behind buildings. I sighed with relief. They would be easy enough to take care of.

i saw three men.they didnt really look like hunters.

I stared hard at them, something was off.

"there not hunters" i said.

He was right, they weren't here to kill us. I stared at them.

i looked at them. "i dont think there humans either" i said.

"Neither do i." i said lightly. I could smell them from where we were standing, but they didn't smell like vampires either.

"then what are they" i said.

I stared at them as i tried to figure it out. It was like they were vampires but mixed with something else. "I, don't, know." i said each word seperately.

"Well we can either stand here or go find out" i said.

I nodded and began walking towards them cautiously.

i walked beside her.

I stopped still a good distance away. "Who are you?" i called.

i looked at them. i wonder if they were gonna awnser.

When they didn't answer i let my curiosity get the best of me. I walked a few more feet forwards as i tried to get a better look. All of there eyes were white. "Who are you?" i repeated again.
The tallest stepped forward. "We are soul collecting vampires."

i looked at them. i only knew alittle about soul collecting vampries.

I clenched my jaw. "Who's souls do you plan on collecting." i said grimly.

"Its not that were looking for souls to collect, rather than a new kind of vampire to study." the tallest said looking towards Jace.

"a new kind of vampire" i asked i noticed one of them was looking at me.
