Contracted Marriage(closed.)

Elizabeth(Lizzy) is 21 years old. She likes having fun and drinking with her friends. But one day that all ends when her parents sign a marriage contract from a guy she doesn't even know. But he offers to pay her and pay off her college loans so she'll be debt free when she graduates at the top of her class in June on the 10th.

I got a phone call from my mother. She told me to come home. I hailed a taxi and told him the address. It was a good thing I'd just gotten off my shift at work.

I waaited with her mother and father at the table, moving guys moving throughthe house, collecting her things.

When I got out of the cab there was a moving truck. I went into the house to the kitchen. "Mom what's going on?"

I turned and smiled at her, "Hello Elizabith," I stood and held out my hand, "I'm Alexander. Call me Alex,"

I politely shook his hand. "Who are you and why are you here?"

"He is legally your husband," her mom pipped up, "And is here to take you home."

I nodded, "That sums it up."

"Excuse me? I didn't ask for a husband."

"You signed it last week, we slipped it with college forms," her father said. "He's paying for your college and all debts. You'll be living with him,"

"I graduate from college in June. How could you do something like that to me?!"

they sighed, "We can't handel you any more, Lizzy,": her mom got up, "so he'll protect you, pay off your debts... and then pay you some after that,"

I did what I did best. I ran out of the house and to the place where I thought best. on the dock on the lake a mile away from my house.

"The lake, the dock there. Just go get her and take her home," Her father told me. I nodded and headed off to find her, running in my jeans and skin hugging shirt.

I took off my shoes and then swam the 200 yards to the doc. I climbed up onto it and curled up into a ball. I was so confused...

I saw her, I walked ou to the end og the dock and slid down besdie her, "Elizabith?" I asked her softly.

(I'm mostly on in the afternoon and at night. But tomorrow my parents and I are leaving home at 1pm my time to go up to my aunts to pick up my little sister. and it means staying for supper so I'll be on tomorrow night mostly.)

I wrapped a light, comforting arm around her, "Hey, I'm sorry," i told her, "I was told they'd told you,"

"Well news flash they didn't." I said softly while knocking his arm off me.
