"Stay righ here alright Cason?"my father looked down at me,he looked... scared,no terrified.
But being five years old I just nodded thinking daddy was playing a game on me,like hide and sneek,so I stayed their,curled up in a ball and watched as dad shut the closet door on me.

I listened for his footsteps they went away from me,going down the carpet steps his feet were light.Mommy was gone for the afternoon with Hale so me and daddy were the only ones home.I lisetned again straining my five year old hearing to down stairs,I heard dad open the door,their were other voices,but I couldn't make out any words.
Next thing I knew something smashes and breaks,I hear my father yelling someone's name,slowly I open the closet door not finding my voice I walked quitley to the top stairs....

"Carson wake up!"I hear my older step brother John yell their the door,waking me up from my nightmare,I shot up breathing hard and heavy I groaned.
John poked his head in,concern showing on his face as he steps in fully,"Dude you okay Cas?"he walks over.

I nodded and tried to push the dream aside,"Y-yeah I'm good,just a nightmare,"I saw Hale walking by,but she stopped when she heard just a nightmare,she walked in and stood beside John,looking me over she asks,"Do you want me to go get mom?"

"No I'm fine Hale,"I said,working out a smile I plaster it to my face before getting up,"now get out before I show you my boxers or something,this time I laughed at the look on Hale's face.
"Eww,"Hale said as she backed away,"that is not a sight I wanna see any time soon!"the she was gone,leaving me and John laughing at her reaction.

Still laughing I pulled out a clean pair og light blue jeans and a plain white shirt,plus a plaid shirt,"Uhh... John could you... like.."he held up his hands as if to say no need to ask I'm already going.
I smiled when he was gone,I pulled my pj's off and pulled on my cloths leaving my hair light brown hair ruffled from tossing and turning I walked outta my room,giving a loud yawn I walked down the stairs,passing the living room I saw my younger brother watching Ruby and Max ..... I didn't bother to stick around and find out if Max listened to his bossy older sister,and talking about a bossy older sister.

I gave a light grunt when I saw her sucking face with her boyfriend,"Get a room!"I said,earning me a smack upside thehead by Lucy herself,I rubbed my head as I started to make mysefa sandwhich with god knows what on it.
Hale looked up and scrunched her nose,"Uhh.. Cason what's on that?"
I gave a light shrug and kept eating it,Hale's made a disugsted face and dumped her cereal into the sink,"Hurry up I wanna get to school,and this time not be late,"she gave me a pointing look,I gave her a sloppy grin.

"Okay Buckaroo let's go then,John don't forget to feed Sam soon!"I called before I grabbed Lucy's keys,I jangled them and closed the door just as I heard her say,"Cason!"I chuckled and walked to her car,putting the keys in we waited on her,singing along to For the First Time by the script.
